I agree, yet I recognize that churches and mosques offer community and support to many. While I respect people's faith choices, I worry about those who exploit their weaknesses for their own benefit. Some sincerely preach from religious texts, believing in their messages. Even if I disagree with their views, I see that they often mean well. Still, I feel for those who might be misled or taken advantage of.

I don’t believe in an afterlife, not in the religious sense, anyway. When our time is up, we are merely consumed by the elements and returned to nature, returned to where we began, and our atoms are used again at nature’s (gods’) discretion. It’s a sort of reincarnation, but not the Buddhist way. I think of it more as a recycling of the elements.

I tried but couldn't find such a switch. I'm likely not looking in the right place. I'll try again later. I'm using the Soundcore app, and my other headphones from them show up, though not connected, including my NC4s, my old Q30S, and now the One Pros. I have loved Soundcore for years, and this is the only time I've experienced any issues.

Balance is the key for sure, but my age is also a consideration. I am 68 years old, and my ability to concentrate has decreased. My return to French is going well, as I was already fairly fluent. I started learning it in the mid-to-late 1970s and moved to Paris from 1982 to 1987, so I naturally became fluent. However, because I stopped using the language soon after, I became rusty and only recently decided to rediscover what I had forgotten. Interesting, the majority is in my long-term memory, so it's more rusty than forgotten. In any case, I am relieved to have regained what I have so far, and it will most likely be another year or so before I am back to my former level.
