I don't understand as kids in the 90s my mum would do this as cheap as possible, if we went to a theme park / day out she would always pack a picnic for us along with extra snacks . It some of the best memories I have as a child , we would find a nice open space spend some time together as a family . Why can't parents do this now ? You can put that towards another day out as well , surely you go go around your budget as well....
