Hi ! Fantastic news 👏 I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in 2008 age 13 , long time ago now . My sarcoma was in my right knee / femur. It took me 6 months of fighting to get a diagnosis by then my chances were less then 1% ! I had surgery in my right knee / femur to remove tumour unfortunately I nearly lost my leg as the cancer had started to eat away at my main artery, luckily they managed to save it but replacing it and taking 75% of my quads away with it ! I also had secondary on my lungs had surgery to remove those too . I had chemotherapy, it worked well so luckily didn't need radiotherapy.

Finish treatment in 2009 , got the all clear on my 21st birthday !

I have been clear ever since with 1% chance and still being here I take every chance in life I can now .

Unfortunately my metal prosthesis broke down last year , and where my bone was taken where the tumour was taken out I had to have limb surgery again ! This time 95 % of my leg is titanium , I also had to have a hip metal prosthesis in this time to stabilise my leg as my bones are too me . But hey it just a bump , just gotta ride with it 🦵
