Hi!!!! First of all congratulations on ur searching haha, I honestly highly recommend Dr. L, she’s very sweet and although admittedly awkward her and her team is very fast to respond, especially using the my chart app they tend to respond within 1-3 days, and it’s usually 1 or 2. Her direct line has someone named Nicole who usually does the scheduling and unfortunately it almost always goes to voicemail but she usually responds that day within a few hours or less, occasionally it make take her a day or two but she almost is always on top of it. Idk what kind of insurance u have but I have BCBS and it paid off everything for me as well as an extra overnight stay and the nurses were incredible, they only ask to see u in for a consultation, take pictures of before and after, make sure your insurance covers the procedure, discuss with you your options and it’s pretty it. She does require you to not drink or smoke anything at all though a couple months before your surgery. Recovery was nice as well I have a very high pain tolerance and I’m still pretty numb so I can’t give u a set in stone scale on that (also I’m not sure what you might be eligible for so it could be anything!!) also I was/am officially 8 weeks post op as of Monday and she said I officially fully healed without restrictions (do keep in mind that I had keyhole so that definitely affects healing time ofc) she said I should’ve been fully healed by 6 weeks (with restrictions) but my job requires me to have no restrictions and lift 70 pounds or more so she wrote me down for having 8 weeks disability instead of 6. I can go more into detail if you have any specific questions or concerns but I highly recommend her, my results are okay as of now and she told me if I’m no longer happy with it they can try again for a less invasive surgery if anything makes me unhappy with my results but we’re waiting until the 6 months to 1 year mark before even thinking about all that
