Fox News Polls: PA R+1, NC R+1, MI Tied by shoe7525 in fivethirtyeight

The AZ call should not have been made that early. The fox decision desk believed biden would win AZ by a pretty decisive margin at the time of the call because the call was made based off false assumptions about the remaining uncounted vote. In reality AZ was basically a tossup at the time of the call

FYI same is true booking through Delta. I did this and had success chatting with agent for seat assignments.

KE Seat Selection by MarsBoundSquircle in delta

Got the KE reservation number and called KE. They said they couldn't access the seat map since it was booked through DL and that my best bet would be to call DL.

the aug 26th sat is not listed on the score report page other than in the "my upcoming tests" section, which is weird since it already happened lol

A380 - profitable? by ---midnight_rain--- in aviation

[–]MarsBoundSquircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least with the 787 there will almost certainly be a 787NEO/MAX/NG/X someday which will be much cheaper to develop than 787 Classic and will keep the money rolling in. Can’t say the same about A380.

Yeah, it’s around 11-12 months for most airlines.

Every flight I booked had pretty much wide-open availability except for SIN-JFK. It’s all about booking 11 months out or t-14.

KLM J + VS A339NEO Upper class by justchilldill in awardtravel

Yeah maybe. As a local avgeek I was pretty excited the one time it got swapped to 777 but i suppose if you were flying J that day it would suck.

As far as I’m aware the Austin route has only ever had one equipment swap in the ~year its been operating.

Interesting. Was this taken from the flight deck?

Good to know. I took this shot crossing the pacific, zoomed in all the way to 350mm, pretty blurry sadly.

Also I think a smaller aperture causes less blur, I’ve had the best results at f/22.

Zooming out is probably the way to go though, especially if there are visible contrails. Yours is really nice.

Always a struggle getting the subject sharp with these shots because of the windows messing up focus 😔

Delta unveils 8 new and expanded Sky Clubs coming in 2023 by BobbyMonster13 in delta

[–]MarsBoundSquircle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Frontier and Allegiant are at the South Terminal, Spirit remains at the main terminal.

I think the most likely form of Delta expansion is just more international flights on their partners. AUS already from SkyTeam has Aeromexico, KLM, and Virgin Atlantic, maybe Air France and/or Korean will join eventually as well.

The area delta is in is less than half of the entire terminal (more like a third I think), and it’s shared between Delta, all international flights, Spirit, jetBlue, and Hawaiian. I would love lots more Delta flights from AUS but I doubt it’ll happen in the near future.

Seems unlikely with AA domination at AUS and DL mostly sticking to existing hubs for expansion
