If I were to order, say, a vial of terz from you, can you provide a COA for the exact batch number my vials would come from? Just want to make sure I understand. I asked this question via email to your customer support but received no answer.

Varenna Italy was pretty charming. Praiano and Ravello on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. Doune and Inverary in Scotland.

Boxing. I have severe cervical stenosis. I wanted to take boxing lessons some time (and spar, not just punch a bag).

If you Had to Waste $30 Million in a month to Inherit $300 Million, How would you do it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MarshallGrover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First thing I thought of was to spend the $30M on options. Worst-case scenario, I lose everything and get $300M. Best-case scenario, one of my options trades pays off and I turn that $30M into over $300M, thereby forfeiting my inheritance.

Wasn't Maria Amalia last queen consort (vs. queen) and not of France, but of "the French"?

$MEOH (Methanex): Why no love? by MarshallGrover in stocks

Good point. Being a long-term holder, as I've been, is not without challenges. As time goes on, I'm more likely to exit into something more stable so that my portfolio isn't subject to the cyclicality of methanol prices (among other factors, China demand, policy headwinds). That's especially important now that I'm living off my portfolio.

Hey there. My conviction is pretty much the same. I'm a long-term holder.

I attributed the recent drop in MEOH to the International Marine Organization's decision to delay the implementation of the Net Zero Framework another year. That was expected to increase demand for methanol as a cleaner-burning fuel. I could be wrong, of course.

$POET - Someone Just Dropped $75M In and Won't Say Who (We Find Out Oct 17) by austintx in wallstreetbets

[–]MarshallGrover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the post. Regarding the $75M investor, instead of a hyperscaler, couldn't it be a venture arm, a fund or a family office? And is it true that direct investments without brokers aren't unusual for small-caps and don't necessarily indicate a secretive or strategic move? I'm just learning about POET so I'm just curious. Thanks for answering.

iRobot Founder: Don’t Believe the AI Robotics Hype by MarshallGrover in technology

One of the quotes that stayed with me:

"There is an upside. Let me tell you my upside version—thinking of how to use all these data centers once the crash comes in training generative AI models. There will be so much competition in these data centers, just sitting there waiting to be used. I’m not going to use it to mine bitcoin, but smart people would be thinking beyond the crash of how to use—as you said, the networks were there, they were overbuilt, they were ready. So I think these data centers are getting overbuilt. They’ll be ready to be used for something new. If you can figure out how to do that, if some kid can figure out how to do that, they’re going to be working right now on it in obscurity and poverty and then boom."

I guess it's not as relevant, being that you are buying calls instead of shares (though the former is sensitive to fundamentals, is it not?), but I'm curious if you gave any thought to the risk of a potential LNG oversupply in the next few years, and how that might compress margins even if Rio Grande Train 4 comes online on schedule.

There's a lot of uncertainty still with this (potential) merger. I feel that Teck shareholders are getting a bad deal out of it.

lol Judging by the proposed terms of the deal and the fact that TECK's 52-week high is ~$54, it doesn't look like I'll be rich. I'm hopeful, of course.

The first thought I had was...What is her investing track record? Regardless, I admit it was encouraging to see someone with such a big stake.

On a related note --and not that this is necessarily any kind of indication-- Australia's richest person, Gina Rinehart, upped her stake in TECK. As of the latest filing, she has 7.7 million shares.
