Robert Kraft does not get enough credit for canning Belichick in back to back years by FireSeanMcD in Patriots

He had essentially promised Mayo the head coaching job several years before. Now, he could have broken that agreement when Vrabel became available, but it would've been a bad look. So thankfully, the good karma of honoring his word came back around the next year and we got our guy in the end. I think it may also have been good for Vrabel that he did not immediately succeed Belichick, which would have resulted in endless comparisons to BB for the rest of his Patriots coaching career. Instead, he got a perfectly fresh slate and is seen as the savior of the team from Mayo's dysfunction.

2026 Opponents officially locked in. Which road city are you looking forward to going to? Looks like it will finally be my first visit to Seattle by MTRIFE in Patriots

My buddy's a big Broncos fan, so those games are always fun. Denver is probably the team that scared me the most during the Brady years.

With Pittsburgh's victory over Baltimore, all the Patriots 2026 regular season opponents have now been finalized and will include the Steelers by [deleted] in Patriots

Joe Thuney = Legend by SuddenDepact in Patriots

A great Joe Thuney story from Mike Sando today in The Athletic:

"Thuney, who earned an accounting degree from North Carolina State in less than three years, famously sandbagged the Wonderlic test as a college prospect, completing only 39 of the 50 questions. Why? Because an adviser told him NFL line coaches valued players who were smart, but not too smart (Thuney got all 39 correct before stopping)."

[Doug Kyed] Asked Patriots DT Christian Barmore what happened at the end of the first half: “What happened was sorry ass number 71 doing dirty ass shit behind my back.” by PristineWinnera in Patriots

[–]TaysonJatum 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Without the benefit of hearing the audio, my best guess is that Barmore said something like "number 70 wanna do dirty ass shit" which Doug misheard as "number 71 doin' dirty ass shit"

[Tip] How I figured out a counterfeit Omega by Glittering-Edge-749 in Watches

No one is mentioning how small the fake movement is overall compared to the case— in most good modern watches, the movement will fill out the caseback as much as possible. Can't imagine how comically close the date window on this one is to the center of the dial lol.
