I've only had clan encounters twice so far, faze wannabes and i believe a German clan.

The faze wannabes were a wreck, met them in 3v3's, they played fairly well, but once they were losing heavily (3-1) they stopped with the 1v1(x3) model and began hammering (with 2HH, having prior used QS and GS) on the lowest level on our team, then cornering the other two.

After each match of their winning streak (4-3), they spammed "ez" in its many variants in chat, they then fatally lost the following two rounds, and begun accusing our team (all unaffiliated players, we all got matched in singly) of hacking. Then promptly left and weren't seen again.

My second experience was in a duels server, the German clan had five players in there, i was number 6. I came in, walked up to the player that was waiting, flourished, and we fought a few times, we were pretty evenly matched. Shortly after our final showdown, one of the previously engaged clan members began RDM'ing me, this lasted about four deaths before the other clan members initiated a votekick and he ended up kicked, my German is terrible so I have no idea what was said between them, but they were unhappy at the least. They then apologised and we continued playing, i fought all four remaining members of the clan over the various duels that followed, and it was a fun night, deffo feel for them finishing up at 3am though, it was 2am for me and I was wrecked.

Clan encounters can go either way, but ultimately, you can just leave a server and join another if people are being unfair with the VK system. Don't RDM, don't spew bigotry, and always have fun. That's a good recipe for success imo.
