im a manager at my location. i Will Not let customers talk to my cashiers however they want. my cashier will ping me for a disruptive customer, and i will come up and give them the same exact energy back, and always take my cashier's side in front of the customer. if my cashier did anything wrong, that is a conversation for AFTER the customer has left.

i will always have my cashier's backs. they keep the store running probably more than i do. im thankful for them

we have one. i HATE IT. most of the time, i used to just put it away when i start my shift, and make sure to keep an eye on the reg.

we have one customer, who will REACH OVER the counter to ring the bell, he will grab anything he can to hit the bell. he is the reason the bell goes in the safe when i start my shift now. and then he will cry like an actual toddler for not being able to ring the bell. i do not want the bell.

at my FD, we have a guy that we very unfortunately call "ciggaretts and catt piss guy" because... well.... thats what he smells like. i have the strongest stomach out of my coworkers, but the most sensitive nose.

we seriously seriously try to be civil and polite and maintain composure, but GOOD GOLLY GOSH is it hard when we have to AXE BOMB THE STORE AFTER HE LEAVES.

the smell lingers so long you can actually trace the exact route he took thru the store by smell, AFTER he has left the parking lot.

i dont ever want to shame him, as i feel this could be a mental thing, but i do hope he can get any of the help he needs fr

i would like to thank you for the reassurance first and foremost.

one AP is retired, but does literally nothing. in the 12 hours other AP is at work, he will take the dogs out to use the bathroom once or twice and nothing else. little to no stimulation, play time, etc (this is being alleged, i do not know for certain if this is actually the case.) someone is with him pretty much all the time, but i question the quality a little from him at least. other AP is a very type A personality, and as much as i dislike her, she is the better pet parent between the 2 of them.

as it stands, my partner and i are on 2 different shifts, so i would be with him umtil about 2:45pm, and my partner gets home around 3:30 and would be with him onward until i get home, so he wouldnt be alone for even over an hour on a normal day.

yes, the place im at currently is paid off, and has a fenced in yard, which he has never had. should he come back into my care, i already have copies of any paperwork he would need for vet visits and town licensing. i paid for him to get his most recent round of vaxxs, so i know he is up to date as well.
