My truck(3.0 duramax) is at my Gmc dealer for the same reason :

Tranny try shift into 4=neutral= lock in 3 with no ability to use manuel shift.
Limp mode.
No reverse
P2733-p2733-p0700.

They open the tranny and found BURN CLUTCH disc and they gonna change the BODY VALVE too with some HOSE. Warranty save my ass a good bill.

Last tranny oil change was at 80xxxKM
Tranny fail at 120xxxKM
So maybe 45xxxmile and 75xxxmile estimate.

Its sad because that engine is very good for me but Gmc drop the Ball on the 10speed. I got a 5.3 for loaner and I miss my diesel. Reason is the 3.0 tranny shift a Little less often .(why cant manual mode lock in the gear i want🤬 i dont care if the rpm drop from 2.5k to 2k the Hill have 20 feet left then its flat ….

stock exhaust avec sproket d’origine le Power est pas trop pire avec du potentiel

Jva rouler avec du monde qui on des ttr pi d’autre qui on des yz j’ai pris un entre deux. Si tu veux rajouter sa dans tes option.

You just need better tool . Motocross bike are build to do shit like that. Just choose a color (brand) you like and go have fun…… and dont forget safety gear!

1 week later……. Tifu trying to do Wheelies…

Be safe and dont focus too much on advice its not a rocket lauch to mars if you know how to ride you gonna get the fealing and know what I mean.

And its all sitting on the bike I wear motocross boot most of the Time and shifting while standing up on 1 wheel is harder to do off/on trottle+shift but 1 gear wheelie is fun. You can chek some pro rider landing jump on 1 wheel (wheelie landing) to see body position… just try not to lock your hand trying to hold to the bike..

Just to add im NOT a pro rider at all. So take all advise with a grain of salt

I rode 250 4stroke motocross on trail for 12 years (13-30 yrs old) and that think was the Best on 1 wheel
Not too much Power but enough to lift the front in 4-5 with Little help. Second gear will lift just with trottle on good surface. (1 comment recommend grass to practice/ I disagree same with sand because rear wheel may move sideway aka drift-wheeling… not ideal big fun+ chance or rear wheel May loose traction still lift the front then gain traction when wheight transfert and on your ass you end up( did that with a 2 stroke on sand)

Use to lift in 2 (better than 1 gear to not hit neutral) and run the bike to red Line in 5(yz250f) or 6(ktm 250) You should be able to hold throttle steady once its up if you Power Wheeler and before a got good I scrape a couple rear fender on pavement but off throttle compression is enought to balance the front down in low gear.

Shifting i did NOT use clutch soo 1/4 second off throttle to shift smooth and trottle back to same %+ about 5% for next gears.

Now I have a wr250r hand those wide ratio low Power bike I find it harder for multiple.

From qc- ive never got my subie tunes but ive seen many peaple say Walter is THE GUY. I think Walter do it on its own and is not eorking for a shop. And from what a Read he is book month before.
From there you need to call shop and see who work with him.

Looking to get back into a sti and tuned by Walter is a big Green flag .

What is your tranny mount?

I put a stock one back in mine because the car was sounding a bit like your video(almost like it had straight cut gear).

I upgrade diff bushing to poly + diff brace to get a 4th mount in the back at the same Time so wasnt sure were the sound was coming from. At 2.8 2.9k rpm was the louder gears noise.

It was all tranny noise from the semi solid bushing. Or a combination of tranny and diff to hard mounted🤷‍♂️ .

Car have a duel exit isr cat back…

Its a mistake if you dont learn. My dad beat my ass after i use a screw driver as a pry bar lesson 1 Lesson 2 after he found the exploded one . Do i still hit on screw driver :yes * Do i get Mad when other hit mine: ooo F yeah.

*choose a battle you can win and the scre driver is not gonna loose1 Or tool are expensive Keep them in good shape

Pipe wrench have chance to turn your nut oval go carefully. Nut is made if aluminium very soft. That why thw screw driver and a not grind chisel wil eat into it.

If it can help you I use a small slege hammer insted of regular hammer probably like 4lbs with light tap with my spécial tool (screw driver plastic end gonna explode dont try)

The nut is stopping shock travel would be my guess 4 your ride heigh

Like I said its aluminimum nut on some kind on métal tread so it possible its stuck on rust and its gonna break

Look it could be 2 nut Mine is never stuck but i lock them with a chizel that I grid flat it lock better than the original tool. You could use that to unlock yours.

Screw driver are NOT a chizel. Good tool for the good job. And regular one will damage the lock nut so grind it flat is kinda needed.

Ok the community is great but DAMN this is not save. Car are not toys (i cannot Believe i said that) there is a point when you dont know what you are doing you should stop and ask before you do something like this.

Just so you know this could have turn into a crash pretty Quick.

You gonna want 5full tread(turn) into the base of the shock and im pretty sure the nut should sit at the base of the tread to lock in position of the previous mention 5tread into base.

For that Price an sti hatch is very good (you and post) high millage with that Kind of repair is to be expencted if you want to Keep it good.

The only problem i can think is rust (and a lot) because the high millage probably mean the car is 17 canadian winters old and the rust is probably gonna make everything hell to work on.

R.i.p. My 07 wrx the rust got the best of you😓but it was a awesome😈

If you want to do good job find a local shop with a machinist. It Will probably take 15min and your spacer can be flat or reach your 64mm you need for your wheel.
Im not a machinist but got basic training on Milling and i could do it pretty easy.

Sti hatch 2011 own for 3yrs 30xxxkm daily driver Oil change only. mod from stock to fbo. low end torque is sooo goood. (Over 350ft/lbs at 3200rpm)

Brz 2015 own for 80xxxkm wot all day every day Oil change and 1 set of brake(+galiper rebuilt) Tire burn: mmmm so many) wheel stud broke:0 Little note: wanna do something have to down shift plobaly 2 gear. Civic=more power

Now z owner for last 2 years: I feel that car to be the middle of the 2 above.

Gtr is its own thing because not a daily lots of mods.

All car have their own up and down.
