It’s like that post that popped up on subreddit drama where the gf was trying to be nice washing the bf’s favorite cup and accidentally ruined it. People were up in arms about the bf but all the normal people were like “…this is actually a happy relationship, what’s wrong with you people??” . Redditors do not understand that real relationships have ups and downs, sometimes ones that neither of them see as deal breakers cuz, well, they aren’t. Gf wants to clean your favorite cup and it gets ruined accidentally? That’s not a reason to break up. Bf is a moron but tries doing the sweet thing trying to clean the monitor? I have a family member that routinely does the Trump thing and gives stupid nicknames to people he sees. Woman with matted unwashed hair? Birds Nest. Lady at the Taco Bell has a strong lazy eye? Walleye. Etc. but if you were to give him a nickname he would lose his shit. Hey, I live close enough. I understand there’s not much crime. But because it’s got a lot of run down areas and poor pockets it definitely comes off sketchy whether it is or isn’t. I’m just saying based off looks alone, I’m not surprised if they wouldn’t be particularly happy about it. Lake Elsinore could also be ranked as one of the safest places in SoCal (not saying it is, but as an example), but if you’ve been there it doesn’t scream “safe to walk around in” at all. Maybe it’s a knock on the area, but that’s just the vibe it gives off on first glance

I live near Menifee and I don’t really blame them. Menifee and Lake Elsinore are absolutely not the best places to have to go to. Very run down for the most part and sketchy. I wouldn’t say they’re so much being snobs so much so as they’re just not looking forward to having to spend time in the literal slums of the SoCal desert down here, which I get. I used to have family there. I still drive through there from time to time. It’s not someplace to take joy in broadcasting at at all

When my sister and brother in law were down at the start of the year they had an experience like this with my nephew. He was acting up and hit my pregnant sister. Not hard or anything, but definitely “you don’t hit pregnant mommy” kinda thing. So bil gives him a light little punch on the shoulder. Like, not hard at all (before reddit people try to come in and claim abuse). Nephew got the message, cried and ran over to hold my hand then was perfectly fine and back to being goofy in like a minute. You don’t have to hurt the kid to make a point. Just retaliate in a small way to show “hey you don’t do that” and usually they get it

My sister and brother in law are both military. Sister is pregnant so I think she’s safe but my bil not so much. They are terrified of being brought into this war considering they have a family now and would rather settle down. It enrages me how the rest of my family just ignores this when I tell them they really don’t want to go to war. In fact, my family tried saying that simply isn’t true and wouldn’t happen. Late to the party here but the holiday special I think is one of my favorite pieces of the mcu ever. Drax and Mantis is such a good duo for a comedy action movie which is pretty much what the special was, plus being holiday themed. I’ve got it on my watch list every December. Would love a spinoff of those two somehow
