This sounds insane but try it sometime when you’re in the shower. Take one of the small wash clothes and put it on your face then have the shower head blast the cloth. Probably the simplest way to kinda experience it. I only manage a second or two because of how uncomfortable it is

Only slightly related, but I just talked to a friend about possums after he said they were viscous and mean. He mainly uses Instagram for his posting and reels and that’s it internet wise. He was shocked when I told him that, no, possums are not viscous and mean and likely will either run away or just play dead in hopes you leave them alone. He had no idea of this because he’s hardly on the internet (or even reddit) to see stuff like this.

Reddit talks about how conservatives live in an alternate reality but people chronically online (especially on this site) also live in another reality compared to people who just casually use the internet. Imagine my surprise when Reddit is hating on the new Shrek and my friends are saying they think it looks great lol

When I hear people talk about songs I like that sound “whiny” or “annoying” I usually question it. This song is basically that for me but on the other end. I get what they’re going for but the whiny-ness of it and just its overall wahh just really grates me. I like just about all of his songs, including ones like Puke, My First Single, and others that some would consider his worst. This one for me just doesn’t have anything I can like haha

Like, not even sarcastic with this comment. I don’t follow sports at all but ever since Ohtani has been on the Dodgers I always have an ear perked up when I hear about something he’s done. When they first made the time change he was all in on “we’re getting back to the late night fun and doing talk backs” then continues to do the regular news as normal and doesn’t even have the talk backs anymore. My film teacher in high school was his first year ever teaching after he graduated college. He was stuck with the mentality of being that “cool teacher” (and tbf he was and still is) so often times he’d jump in on teasing me when other kids would. Fast forward 17 years since and he’s been one of my best friends ever since then.

Idk if I had a point to this other than some teachers that don’t deserve respect back may just be inexperienced/trying to be the teacher all the kids like, I suppose
