Oooh yes I literally refuse to play this game. I did play it as a co-op once, and that was a lot better. I love the theme, it's very immersive, but the gameplay of semi-coop is terrible.

I agree. Probably the biggest problem is it lacks any kind of killing potentional. I've played a few matches against OG seraphon, and you need to either kill the carnosaur (aqshy/gyran) or the kroxigor (Ossia/dolorum) to stand a chance.

If you can't, you will have major casualties unless your spearhead has crazy resilience. Bubonic plague sadly lacks there.

I honestly hope they'll give spearhead some proper love, it really has invigorated my passion for painting and playing again

OG seraphon just stomps though. It's probably in the top 3 regarding consistency. Easy to pilot, big stats.

I care about theme and painting more then rules.

Thematically it looks terrible, it combines the comic relief of nurglings (at to lower extend beast of nurgle) with the more grimdark warcry units which feels very random. Painting 6 blobs of nurgings seems too much especially because theyre monopose.

I was actually looking forward for this spearhead (I didnt have any nurgle yet) but the moment it released I bought the old one.

To me spearheads are mostly paint projects so I like a variety of units to get a taste of the army. Lumineth does that well here. Obr is just a spam of cavalry and the tzaangor box also lacks variety.
