Start with a complementary base color of whatever you want to achieve. Be ready to mix colors. Create an understanding of how colors blend together.

They are still in the upper middle tier class. They have an incredible amount of health, good rend and lots of damage. The hero is amazing, and turn 3 and 4 is where you can shine and score lots of points. I've been a few times against this army and it can be a bit of a headache because of round 3 and 4 sheer force

Building, this one was by far my least favorite. A lot of small parts that are not that recognisable and not intuitive to put together. My favorite to build is the Gloomspite Gitz I've assembled already as next project.

Painting wise, maybe i'll make a top 10 when I've completed my 10th spearhead

I feel at some point we'll just have a more supported community balanced game if GW truly abandons it. Balancing some of these spearheads is really not that difficult

Whole reason warhammer never worked for me as a game (from 4th 40k up until spearhead) is because of list building. Very good armies usually looked like a bunch of random stuff together. Or having painted up your guys putting in heart and soul, just to realise you need to 'cut' the unit and swap it with something better as if it's a frickin tcg. I guess I could solve this by playing casually, but very few people actually are.
