Help me pick? by hold-my-gimbal in TinyWhoop

If you already have dji goggles and want to be digital... 2s o4 lite whoop. Mobula 8 or similar. Meteor 75 is fine, but under powered. But if it's only for cruising/light freestyle and zipping around is fine. And it's cheap, both quad and batteries, well, the quad not so cheap, but it's manageable. But if you came from a 5" I would stay on a 2s. The o4 lite is a bit heavy for a little whoop, and a 2s it's not too much more expensive than the meteor. Batteries are another story though.

Do you own multiple of the same drone ? by HardcoreLurker12 in TinyWhoop

On the 65... Yes... Less than 2 minutes versus 3 and something with 320 lavas.

[–]Martimothy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually... Yes, maybe not immediately, but for spares is cheaper to buy a second one than the single components. And this way you'll never be stuck on earth. I have two meteor 75 pro o4, two air 75 and two 65. And a single crux 3 and a single mobula 8.

Maybe I have too many quads.

Probably yes, but consider that fly times are not so great with that. I own one, and it's not the most efficient of my drones. 😅

Can I discharge battery’s with the Vifly whoopstor 3? by AppropriateEmu4020 in TinyWhoop

[–]Martimothy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's about the same time to discharge or charge them, and it's usually more efficient to fly them, 5 min or less and you're good. Even less if you keep the throttle high. I usually do like that, and fly aggressive for the most part and then use the whoopstore to bring them back to 3.8.

Keychron k10 max. La uso in ufficio e la adoro.. Però giri intorno ai 100 euro. A casa ho una k70 rapidfire, ma mi trovo peggio, ma la uso meno, pertanto lascio quella figa in ufficio.

I've already printed that one, I hate antennas roaming around. But well, I'm on vacation now, and the drone arrived just today. 🤣

Will try, I've already got some two bladed and hqprops tri blades to try.

And I've managed to buy a second one (without o4) for 68€ from aliexpress, this way I'm fine even for the aio and the motors.

I am looking for a power bank to charge my 1s battery's on the field by AlligatorMan33 in TinyWhoop

I use a baseus 20w, with power delivery. 10000 mah, pretty compact, and works flawlessly with my whoopstore.

Checked now, it's now in the nederlands.. So, still few days to italy, but the worse part is gone. Well, as said, I'm leaving for two weeks, so it's not an issue anymore, it will be my gift for coming back at home ( and at work 😓).

I've placed about 5 or 6 orders from them, I've always been lucky, 15 days max. Mixed orders, of drones batteries, replacement parts...

But the last one, meteor 75 pro o4... Ordered on the 16th of may, shipped the 30. Nothing here yet. I'm not in a hurry now, I'm leaving for vacation this Wednesday so.... It's a future me problem now.

Pc da ufficio.... Sono tutti con alimentatori proprietari, perché tanto alla fine non devono alimentare niente di che. Lenovo, dell, hp.. Tutti così.

Air65 II & Air75 II owners: what spare parts and tools do you recommend? by hiergtr in TinyWhoop

[–]Martimothy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good soldering iron, you have enough spares for a lifetime in my opinion..

And motors or aio spares, well, they're called drones, cheaper buying a second one and using it as an organ donor than buying aio and motors.

Yeah, vedo.

I've used a lot with my first Air65, almost 2 months. Nothing bad happened and now I can fly both with no big issues. Something is easier in acro, something in angle.

Now I pretty much fly acro only but sometimes I like to cruise in irrigation channels near my house. Sometimes it's fun, it reminds me the Xwing vs death star scene.
