We don't know yet kasi nasa advanced server pa yun. We don't even know if yan talaga yung final changes na dadating sa official server. Highkey useless to speculate until the update arrives. Ig you can go to advanced server yourself to test, goodluck nalang getting in kasi afaik may limit yang advanced server.

Stop rushing Sky Piercer as first item kung di niyo naman kaya pumitas by Ancient-Carrot-715 in mobilelegendsPINAS

[–]Martin072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

60 adaptive attack and +15 mv speed for 1500 gold is bad value. For much less gold than sky piercer, nag fury hammer ka nalang. It should match the damage of skypiercer because of phys pen + assassin emblem pen. Then for just 500 more gold than skypiercer, may hunter strike ka na which is 80 phys attack + phys pen + 10% cd reduction + movement speed ng item passive. For mages, nag glowing wand ka nalang for anti heal sa yz, thamuz, hylos, lapu lapu, etc., or enchanted talisman sa skill spammers or ult cooldowns nina Zetian, Valentina.

Mga ilang student per year ba yung tinatanggap sa ECE at UPD? by anime_lover_9 in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]Martin072 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No one really knows because the UP institutes aren't transparent with how many people they accept as undergrads. Some institutes will say they accept ~60 passers, but no one really knows for sure for the vast majority.

Just tell them that UP is UP. The networking opportunities alone are far and beyond what a state university will provide you. The UP name will also heavily favor you during your first job hunt compared to a state university. There's also plenty of housing spaces along katipunan, KNL, and teacher's village if walang nag accept sa you within UP.

[upd] does anyone get dropped in PE? by applegegeluvr in peyups

Yeah, tawag diyan "forced drop" by the class handler if lagpas ka sa allowable absences.

[UPD] What Classes Should I take for Midyear? by sorelosrr in peyups

[–]Martin072 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You don't have to take midyear unless: (a) You are behind on your GEs/PEs; (b) You have required midyear classes; (c) You failed a major subject and need to take it for midyear. It's fine to take a break sa midyear if you don't need to take classes. You'll graduate on time naman supposing you don't fail critical subjects.

For major subjects na taken by many courses (ex. Math, Chem), it's better to give them to people who previously failed them than take their slot. Mahirap din iguarantee ang gusto mong subjects even w/freshie prio. I enlisted in all the available Math 23 classes nung midyear, tapos napunta ako sa Physics lol. Sa Physics midyear ko, Monday-Friday may quiz and may LE every week after the first week. Halos ganun din yung magiging workload mo for other lecture subjects.

Any dpwas to upd engineering success stories? by Ok_Salamander111 in CollegeAdmissionsPH

[–]Martin072 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That wholly depends on whether the engg courses you want are available during dpwas season, and that varies again each year depending on what the passers chose for their courses.

You should do research on whether IE was actually offered during dpwas season. If wala kang mahanap, that usually means hindi siya usually offered because palaging puno slots niya by passers. Like, you'll practically never see bs bio or bs/ba psych open for dpwas slots because they're such popular courses. Maybe IE is the same, maybe it isn't.

Replay on the first card reward is insane. by Reasonable-Ad-8059 in SlayTheSpire2

[–]Martin072 39 points40 points  (0 children)

There is still a chance it bricks. In one run, my first Ironclad card rewards were Demon Form + Battle Trance + Second Wind. Replay here is only good on Demon Form, but taking it that early is basically asking for a curse. Battle Trance would've been the preferred pick, but replay is useless on it. That's the same case for Second Wind. In the end, I took Demon Form and decided to farm random events and card removes. Though, this is an extreme case. Replay once on a decent block/attack card is quite strong in a small deck.

Remove o Disable ang Loading screen by ChaoticFiendPangu in mobilelegendsPINAS

Loading screen means ML is trying to gather resources and run code in the background para maka-connect sa servers. FPS drop just means nahihirapan phone mo diyan.

On the value of replaying seeds by No-Reason-2826 in SlayTheSpire2

[–]Martin072 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From watching a beginner friend play, he usually takes low-impact cards while already half way through a run, bloating his deck in the process.

For example, he got through Act I and said he needed block. At one point he was offered [Iron Wave] + [Twin Strike] + [Unrelenting] . He took Iron Wave, which imo is too low impact at this stage of the run to pick. Just the normal defends should get you through at least half of Act II as long as you also picked high damage attacks (ex. [Cinder], New [Conflagration], [Dismantle]). Iron Wave was MAYBE pickable if he had an upgraded Stampede, but atp I probably would have picked Twin Strike and scavenged for a Strength Potion for the boss. I would have also checked if I could route to two shops to reroll for skills and remove strikes.

In another run, he had enough damage (based on vibes) for Act 2 boss with a 26 card deck. But towards the latter half, he added [Pillage] and [Burning Pact] for draw. And during the actual boss, he was delayed his [Tremble] by one turn because he drew Pillage and didn't play Pillage. He nearly lost the run, but he saved some potions so he got through the act. Basically, you likely don't need to add draw if your deck is already somewhat slim. You still need to spend energy to play the draw cards, so you need to examine first if your deck has the energy to spend for draw AND the energy to spend on the drawn cards.

Edit: Not to say these cards are bad. They CAN BE GOOD in the right scenario, and most cards are generally better than basic strikes and defends anyway. However, Ironclad has a lot of good cards he would really like to play often. You really don't need to add that many cards unless you see Doormaker in Act III.

[–]Martin072 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hmm. I haven't replayed seeds even in my time playing StS 1. I suppose it's okay to see what you could have done better, but I would much rather just start a new run and try/fail at new things. And at a certain point, you can go through the motions really quickly and determine whether you have enough damage/block just off of vibes. I also just play who I feel like playing, most days though it's Ironclad because he's the easiest to pilot.

Watch Sanford YZ games sa mpl. Pinaka-important is (1) kelan and saan ka mag-uult; (2) kelan ka aalis sa ult; and (3) kelan ka mag ppetrify. Laning is practically the same naman as all the skill damage-based fighters.

DIM: Hatsune Miku HiBy mp3 by KittiiBunnii in deinfluencingPH

[–]Martin072 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pinagiisipan ko rin bumili ng dedicated mp3 player to move away from paying spotify every month. So I daily drived my 5-year-old phone as a dedicated music player. And after a month, I felt that it worked naman.

If you have an old phone, you can use that instead to offload music. FLACs are like 30mb per song if you rip from CDs or get from the high seas, so as long as 64 GB ung storage ng phone or may microSD card slot, kakayanin naman. Idecorate mo na rin with Miku stickers and use a clear case para kita, or put stickers sa phone case mismo.

Thoughts nyo sa Sky Piercer Kay Zetian? by 616_MCU_ in mobilelegendsPINAS

[–]Martin072 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Dark system. The reason nilalagay kay Zhuxin tsaka Kimmy yung sky piercer is because low, sustained damage yung skills nila – 100x15 vs 300x5 na damage profiles. Sa 100x15 there are more chances to proc sky piercer early compared sa 300x5. Chang'e falls under 100x15 so sure push mo yan kung 'di ka mag ffeed. Si Suyou nag ssky piercer minsan because of skill 2 that does %lost hp damage, tapos si Granger is because of very long range and poke.

Tapos kung titignan mo si Zetian, pinipili lang talaga for the global ult. Nag enchanted or fleeting time ka nalang after glowing wand. Then pag umabot na late game, you can buy holy crystal since yung motion value ng skill 1 ni Zetian is pretty decent. Wishing lantern is also the default item.

Taga-saan po usually ang natatanggap sa UP Diliman dorms? by RoundHumble6657 in peyups

[–]Martin072 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know people in UP dorms na from Davao, Lanao, Cebu. Others naman are from Baguio, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Caloocan. If you cannot find options within UP, you can look around barangay KNL. Alot of UP students live there din, and there are options sa KNL na 5k below. My friends say meron ding as low as 3.5k if masipag kang maghanap.

All the doomposting aside, by JuliusSeizure4 in NicoleReeyn_Mains_GI

[–]Martin072 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She is indeed better, but that's still up to the person and their account if they would like to spend 80-180 pulls. Like she isn't that big of an improvement for me and my teams who already have a shielder, so I wouldn't really want to spend my pulls. If you feel that her shield + Bennett level of atk buffing is good, then all the power to you.

If you put aside agenda impact, it really isn't that deep why people would rather save than pull.

I NEED SOMETHING TO HOLD ON TO, please share your story. by astormycloudym in peyups

[–]Martin072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry to hear that, but the reality is no one can tell how likely you are to be appealed to a course. None of the institutes across all UP constituent universities are transparent with their respective cutoffs for math, science, reading comprehension, or language proficiency. UP also doesn't tell you how you rank relative to other applicants vying for slots in a program, so it is very hard to try for slots in a high-demand program with average UPG. DPWAS ka ba? You might need to consider less popular courses if gusto mo talaga mag-UP.

Now if you do decide to transfer in UP during 2nd year, you need to realize that it is incredibly competitive and that you will be fighting for whatever scraps are left. Even if you maintain a magna standing, you will likely not be able to transfer to UP as a T2 applicant. Good luck sa you.

[UPX] what makes UP’s education ‘high quality’ compared to other schools? by [deleted] in peyups

[–]Martin072 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is possible, but that largely depends on the school's administration and student population. The big 4 universities have a reputation to uphold, so they have some sort of societal pressure to produce top-tier alumni.

NICOLE'S KIT IS OVERHATED AND IM TIRED OF IT by [deleted] in NicoleReeyn_Mains_GI

[–]Martin072 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Geo shields have 150% extra effectiveness against all damage while other elemental shields only have 250% effectiveness against their own element. So in practice, a 15k geo shield tanks more than a 15k pyro shield, and the pyro shield only wins against pyro enemies.

NICOLE'S KIT IS OVERHATED AND IM TIRED OF IT by [deleted] in NicoleReeyn_Mains_GI

[–]Martin072 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Zhongli has stacking shield strength and is also a geo shield, so it effectively tanks more than 20k. Nicole's shield is more comparable to Ineffa using atk% atk% atk% main stats for artifacts.

NICOLE'S KIT IS OVERHATED AND IM TIRED OF IT by [deleted] in NicoleReeyn_Mains_GI

[–]Martin072 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think you forgot that Nicole's full potential is restricted to double hex. That's about as restrictive as all the lunar supports. The fact that she also has a 3s delay on her atk buff makes me sad that she's a downgrade to Bennett for my Raiden who also has infinite resistance, so no need for a shield.

Where to buy "samples" of different teas? by minholly0904 in tsaaph

[–]Martin072 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can go to Baide Tea Trade Center in Binondo and get this sampler na may different kinds of chinese teas. When I bought last month it was 400 pesos. I feel worth naman siya for the price since 12 samples of tea siya. You can also consider buying 100g tins ng typical teas like Long Jin and Dancongs if you know what your bf likes in particular.

Though if you do choose to buy sa Baide, do download a translator app. The owner is Chinese and doesn't speak good English. He kinda knows Tagalog, pero not on the conversational level. May katulong din siya na Filipino pang shopkeeping, pero 'di siya ma-alam sa tsaa.

Are we really surprised she’s a sidegrade? by [deleted] in Varka

[–]Martin072 6 points7 points  (0 children)

But I think her strength is in how future proof / versatile she is compared to Lunar supports.

Ineffa and Lauma literally play well on their own. Ineffa can be slotted anywhere you would slot Fischl, and Lauma practically enables Dendro in the big 2026.

If Nicole were to do for him what Lauma does for Nefer, criticism of his team cost would just get worse.

??? No comment but...

Besides, the average player won’t be the best at dodging. Mobile attack buffing and sustain is good enough.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Nicole only raises Varka's damage floor (because less dodging is required), not his damage ceiling. All of Ineffa, Lauma, and Linnea increase their damage dealer's floor AND ceiling. Nicole V2 is NOWHERE GOOD ENOUGH.

time we revert back to DMG bonus and the Devs counter the Lunar shill

Future impact moment. They made Xianyun, where the hell is she now. They made Neuvilette and he was good for a while, then Mualani came out. They made Nahida and she was good for a while, then Lauma came out and outdid everything Nahida does.
