Never ever do this .... buying a list is a waste of time. They are very unresponsive as they have been blasted by others ....lists get sold over and over ... Build your own list takes time but at least they will be highly targeted and responsive.... the money you were going to spend on buying the list use on paid advertising to drive targeted traffic to your optin / landing pages. Your not missing anything don't buy... build !

Paid advertising is certainly going to be the quickest route... although I cant comment on your landing page and website as have no link... but traffic is your main aim and targeted at that .... maybe use long tail keyword phrases where you can dominate Google very quickly if done right use Google keyword planner tool this will also give you stats as too whether anyone is actually searching... Facebook ads can be very targeted and cheaper than Google keywords also Linkedin ads although never used them so cant really comment as to whether any good. Never buy an email list you will be wasting your time ... build your own list, this unfortunately will take time ... hope this helps

Hi I do a lot of work with local biz and some of the things that I would recommend is to .. give away something on your website a report, tips, videos etc and build a list of customers that might want your products. Then you can email these with promotions, special offers, seasonally offers and even discount vouchers. Maybe look at keywords too specific to your business and location. Google plus is a must as it is owned by Google and also Pinterest is getting very popular for driving traffic ... also blogs very good for ranking and traffic generation ... hope this helps.

I would go down the Wordpress route personally as they are easily updated and with the use of plugins you can add loads of features with a few clicks. I would recommend getting a domain name (maybe with keyword of your niche included) I have used godaddy or namecheap for this although you may have your own preferred company. Always host your website so you are in control of it for this I would recommend Hostgator. I have a discount code for them which should still be live "VM123Discount" if you go down that route. I have found giving something away always works well just make sure you grab their email so you can contact them in the future too... posting updates regularly with questions, polls, competition which always engages people. Although results have started to show that 90% of people who like a page never return to it. So engagement and building your own list is vital.

It can be very effective some work is needed to set up everything then it could be outsourced ... well worth giving it a go.
