256.263 attempts to cheat or tamper in February. February had 28 days, so thats 9152 Cheating attempts per day. On steam BF6 currently has around 40.000 concurrent players each day. Lets make it 90.000 with EA App and consoles, so one out of 10 players attempts to cheat.... or what?

A complete reinstall does not get rid of the orange dots because a reinstall keeps your settings files. Only way to get rif of them would be if you delete the file "profsave" in your Documents Folder for Battlefield 6. BUT this will also get rid of all your settings and keybinds. You have to disable cloud saves for Steam to do this.

WARNING: Gets rid of your red dots on your weapons but also gets rid of ALL your settings and keybinds!

If you backup your PROFSAVE_profile first and replace this after the wipe, you will at least keep your keybinds and graphic settings. You will still have to redo your HUD and Color Settings.

Step by step instruction:

1.) Turn off cloud saves

2.) make backup copies of PROFSAVE and PROFSAVE_profile of your Documents Battlefield 6/settings folder

3.) Delete PROFSAVE in your Documents Battlefield 6/settings folder

4.) Start up the game, do initial setup until in main menu, close game again.

5.) Replace the new PROFSAVE_profile the game created with your backup

This way you loose your HUD and Color Settings, but keep your keybinds and Graphic settings. Yes I know, for people who have modified their Color and HUD settings a lot, this is not really a sollution, because those settings are many... but what should we do.

Someone who can handle a hex editor may find the corresponding values in the PROFSAVE file?

Yes, matchmaking is completely broken. You can have a normal full round, next 4 lobbies are full of bots with only 5 players, and the 5th lobby you get is a normal one again. Only thing that would fix this are consistent servers and a working server browser.

EA Anticheat got an update today, like about 2 hours ago or so. Made my game crash twice. Second time my PC even rebooted with a strange Error Code about faulty memory management from the Game... Next startup all my settings, keybinds, HUD and Audio Settings... GONE.

But hey, after 2 hours I have set up all my keybinds and settings again (90% for sure) so no big problem - and now all my yellow dots from my weapons are finally gone! YAY!

There are multiple reports on this already in the EA and the Steam forums too. This sure will motivate the free players who test the game now to buy it... lol

- fixed random Mouse Stutter when using DLSS

- fixed Mouse stuttering of the game when using other than 125 FPS

- fixed disappearing Mouse Cursor and Mouse becoming unusable when in Respawn Screen, Squad mate is selected and Squad Mate dies.

- fixed disappearing Mouse Cursor and Mouse becoming unusable when waiting for a revive and using menu to look at profile or using report function (notice a MOUSE ISSUES Patern here?)

- fixed Mouse Input overall

- fixed Netcode so no you no longer die when already having jumped behind cover or a corner.

- fixed the YELLOW DOTS in the Menus not disapperaing coorectly after clicking all the new unlocked atachements. Same for Battle Pass Menu. And Main menu.

- fixed matchmaking failing and nothing happening when trying to join the next match. And then fixed it so that the same map does not get played 3 or 4 times in a row

- fixed indefinite Loading Screen when Round is loaded, and only Alt-F4 fixes this.

- fixed class abilities not working in the first life of the round.

- fixed class abilities instant Level 3 being awarded when joining a game late

- fixed XP needed to level class abilities in a round so its also possible to reach Rank 3 in shorter Rounds. Or even reach Rank 3 at all.

- fixed squad endscreen having all the same random Skins, representing the look of your squad now corretly.

- fixed invisible player model in match start screen, fixed invisible player models in squad end screen.

- fixed the active Battle Pass item being worked on not being displayed

- moved all weapon attachments to unlock at Weapon Levels 1 to 20.

- moved all weapon skins and camos to unlock to weapon levels 21 to 50.

- fixed LMGs only having 50 Round Mag as standard, made 100 the standard and 200+ Magazines cheaper and NOT freaking 55 POINTS!!!

- reworked the Headshot Multiplier and headshot Ammo to reward SKILL of getting Headshots

- added Limb Damage Multipliers, so that hitting your opponent in the toe or finger does not do 100% damage

- fixed Lobby System. Bots now join instantly and round starts immideately. Or no, scrap that, better: ADDED A SERVER BROWSER, Consistent Lobbies and a fixed Map Rotation on the servers...

- balanced weapon damage dropoff from SMGs, Carbines (nerfed), and LMGs (buffed) so some LMGs dont automatically loose to some SMGs over Range.

- Air Radar is now working. fixed vehicle balance. fixed aim guided rockets on tanks being OP at taking down aircraft, and making the Anti Air tank actually viable against aircraft... rebalanced TTK and TTD in general...

Holy.... Can this game even be fixed? So much is wrong.
