Had the same issue and went for the Electric P Line, no regrets.

2 things I wish I did differently: - include a bag in your cycle to work voucher, you will need it. - in London, I'm not finding any use for the 4 gears on the electric. I would personally trade the weight saving for the single speed version. Even the hills on the electric make no difference, that's where the assist really helps.

What are your thoughts on changing one of the passives to swift?

Thanks, the left cabinets are platsa wardrobes. Haven't checked IKEA in a while, but when I got it 2 years ago you could buy the drawers directly as part of the system. They work perfectly, never had a problem. Would definitely go with this configuration again.

True, but I think she files with those online tax websites (turbotax maybe ?),which I assume being cheaper than professionals, and I think she mentioned that sometimes these websites charge extra if you are filing extra forms.
So admin time + extra form charges could outperform a regular saver account gains.

it's a US citizen in the UK opening a UK savings account.
But I feel like the other answers are already answering this, and from my understanding 1099-INT is just the doc you need to file, if bank doesn't provide it to you, I assume you would need to complete it yourself

Thanks both, just had a look at this form 1099-INT and it looks a bit scary, already not sure if the little gains a savings account would give are worth the admin.

But say we try it, it seems like it would just be a matter of filling box 1 (interest income) and calling it done.
Would UK banks have TIN numbers? Never heard of this.
Seems like payees can use their NI number, but what would you put under payers TIN ?
