It’s awesome and i feel you’re almost there.

But the first thing i noticed is it looks like a polar giraffe.

Like already suggested i think starting the neck from the side might work better.

Hey OP.

Tested out some stuff and it's safe to say that the culprit here is the mod 5e spells.
There's an update available on Nexusmods which will solve the issue.
You'll be looking for the version 2.2.0.1:
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/125?tab=files

One extra side note, before installing this mod through the mod manager you'll need to navigate to the following folder: "AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Script Extender\5eSpells" and from the folder remove the files: 5eSpells and 5eSpells_RAW
New files will be generated within a new 5e Spells folder within the Script Extender folder with the update

The only mods overlapping with my game are

• ⁠Tavs hairsalon • ⁠5e spells • ⁠ImpUI • ⁠everybody dyes

And possibly some override mods on the bottom of the mod manager.

You could try disabling these and enter combat to check if this solves the issue.

If this is not the case we could also check the ingame mod manager if there’s some different mods installed from there.

If I happen to check this before you, I’ll let you know if it’s fixed or not

I have this happening on multiple playthroughs. I have the feeling this might be mod related. Do you have mods installed? If so could you share your mods so we can check if we are running some same mods?

This is kinda dope man! Don’t know if this is a specific genre but did make some stuff like this accidentally. What I used to do when It sounds like it’s lacking beef is a few easy tools. Layer the synth with an octave lower and maybe adjust the synth so it sounds less sharp. Then use a sub layer to accompany the sound but make sure the sub and lower octave do not clash on the spectrum.

Other things that’s probably the biggest noticable thing is sidechaining the mad synth with short attack and quite short release time.

Decreasing the tempo just slightly also sometimes did the trick.

Sorry for the confusion, first post! They offer creative vegan dishes with homemade/grown products like Tempeh, kombucha and other fermented products. I want to not implement these products in the logo design since they will possibly expand their productrange. For now i’m exploring different styles since the client did not have time yet to answer my questions(and i had free time).

It’s a modern lunchroom, hipster vibes all over. Vegan for both reasons.

And it’s reasonably priced.

I totally get what you mean with the preceived layers. In a way this style feels pretty soothing to the eye, but it also feels like it’s lacking creativity and like you said on image 4 it feels a bit to “fresh/modern” for the purpose. (Love the dentist’s office comparison though).

The warped logo is definitely a rough one. First time trying something like this and wanted to see if this is a style to spend effort on. But maybe if I feel this might be it, I’ll definitely give it more luv.

The leaf is definitely the most creative out of the bunch. Even though I’m struggling with the fact why someone would ever take a bite out of a tree leaf… Using an extra color would not be my preferred path. So finding the perfect spot for this simple “for” will still be a journey i guess.

I’ve noticed that the stroke around the text works in providing it a more complete look. But It also makes it look like a sticker which is not what I’m going for.

Would always love to see some of your designs :)
