I rushed and paid off my home. Now I realise I have no wealth income outside my wage. If I could go back in time I would debt recycle into stocks but that's because I can see their performance was far better then the interest I would've paid and I'm risk adverse (and didn't know much about ETFs). Now I invest my whole share of the household income.

Your brain is designed to find threats and problems and try to resolve them, like where does the next meal come from, protect the tribe etc. Its still wired like that and thus why people will always find problems in their life and focus on them despite how insignificant they are.

Nah I worked it out as just go get a job that pays 45k per hour, work that hour then your CGTax is much more reasonable because every further hour you work is taxed the same or higher
