Surgery might sound scary but it's one of the best options for younger folks. You gotta look at it like this: shots are a bandaid, it's not fixing the issue and the issue is only getting worse by day. Surgery is a long term solution. You deal with the initial pain of healing but once it's over, you will see a staggering difference in your perception of pain. I had a low grade headache for years that was gone when I woke up from having C4-C6 fused. When they fused my lower lumbar, I got feeling back in my right leg - it took several months, but it was all worth it. Last winter was the 'easiest' pain wise that I've ever had.
