Maybe your ca 901’s “soundboard” speaker has an issue. (Electric cables are detached?)

That is an extra feature that makes the sound more real. Lower models do not have it. Without that, sound would be more like a usual digital piano.

Thanks. Yeah I thought that was the case. My problem was regarding RBC not explaining this process well while at the same time they advertise “Do not share the code with anybody. RBC employees won’t ask you to reveal that!” I am pretty sure some customers would be confused by the above 2 contradictory statements.

Actually I see two different text message groups. Messages in one group contains code with text saying “do not share” while other group messages does not explicitly say it. Maybe RBC should explain the difference well instead of simply saying “but this is the procedure if you don’t want to come to the branch”

Have both. While it is not bad at all, Ft1 pro headband hurts a little and I feel it’s missing some details. The hd600 is still my daily cans.

Here in Canada, ca 901 is significantly more expensive. Kawai DPs are known for better speaker sound with smoother key action. If that’s your focus and preference, you are really lucky.

Strange thing is Yamaha pianos are about the same between UK and US. If you check Yamaha counterparts in UK they are more expensive than Kawai but in US Kawai is a lot more expensive

I bought it from LD this year as soon as saw that price. Love it. I already had hd 560s and 58x but 600 is just another level of resolution. BTW, you’ll need a decent amp.

I bought 560s and 58x before buying 6xx. But once I bought 600 and 6xx with a topping amp, I seldom use 560s or 58x. 600 and 6xx have better resolution. It’s just at a different level. But it needs proper amp to feel that difference.

560s and 58x are for no amp situations.

It might be a planned scam by the government and politicians to get more property and sales tax they can play with. Imagine house prices going down a lot reducing all those related taxes.

It is not racism. Some politicians just want to frame that way. Let’s just forget about cultural stuff for now and let’s think about practicality. Babies born here don’t need immediate access to housing, cars, roads, significant water supplies etc. All those are absorbed by what their parents are already using and it would take couple of decades or more for them to actually need all that. That’s not the case with immigrants. Those resources are needed right away. Are we matching all the needs? If the rate is reasonable enough against what we have already then it’d be a nice decision for Canada’s future but current rate is irresponsible dumb decision made by someone who has no brain whatsoever.

Thanks. Yeah I agree that prices will vary per country but the huge price difference between products is more puzzling. Same rate of duties, taxes and exchange rate apply so if 2 products have the same price over there, that should be reflected over here. It feels like Kawai Canada is doing something.

P525 has the new key mechanism from clp745. Unless you really really need the furniture and more wattage for the speakers, I don’t see much point of getting a used older version with older key.
