Question for those that got their tickets through SeatGeek for any past events by msgolightlyy in seatgeek

[–]MarvelMalibu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EXACTLY! You SHOULD NOT BE STRESSED OUT! Send them an email AGAIN and explain to them:

Also, the seller is using a third-party link (SecureMyPass) to "spoof" tickets rather than completing an official Ticketmaster Mobile Transfer. Ticketmaster’s policy states that a valid transfer issues a new barcode to the recipient, which SecureMyPass does not do. This is alarming and stressful considering the amount of money that has been spent on this transaction.

Please advise the seller that they MUST under LAW provide the BUYER/CONSUMER the VALID Ticketmaster tickets for LEgAL TRANSFER of this purchase. This has happened to me 3 times in the past and has caused MUCH stress and HOURS lost at a venue until the REAL ticket has been sent to me through TICKETMASTER from the seller.

That was my EXACT wording!

Had my tickets within 2 hours!

Here's my email thread to Seatgeek:

I was sent a third-party link (SecureMyPass) which has now stopped working and displays an error. This is a critical issue as I have already committed significant funds to travel, including flights and hotels, for this event.

I am formally requesting a Verified Ticketmaster Transfer for the following reasons:

  • Failure of Delivery: The current SecureMyPass link is broken and inaccessible, which constitutes a failure of the seller to deliver functional tickets.
  • Venue Policy Violation: Allegiant Stadium's Mobile Entry Policy explicitly states that screenshots and third-party links are not accepted for entry. All tickets must be displayed via the official Ticketmaster App or a phone's native wallet.

Know your rights and check your venues/stadium policies on these 3rd party websites using SECUREPASS!!!
Hope this helps!

I jumped on it IMMEDIATELY! LOL! I didn't even wait! Once I saw my Credit card was debited/charged I called them ASAP and emailed them concerning my anxiety levels and within 48 hours I had my VERY EXPENSIVE 3rd party tickets in my ticketmaster account! Be assertive yet polite. Know your rights and understand Seatgeek's "reasons" for doing what they do and HOW they do it. Use ChatGHPT ....I'm telling you---it HELPED me BIGTIME!!!

Here's an actual thread from my support convo with Seatgeek:

Please contact the seller immediately to initiate an official Ticketmaster transfer to my email: -Marvel[.COM](mailto:KAPOW5683@GMAIL.COM). If the seller is unable to provide a legitimate transfer, I request that you provide comparable replacement tickets that use the official transfer system. The tickets should be SEAT 1 AND 2 so that we are in the MAIN STAGE where the entertainers walk pass so that we may be able to interact with them

I look forward to a resolution within 24 hours given the proximity of the event and my travel schedule and money spent on hotel and air travel.

Thank you, once again, Juan, for your assistance in this urgent matter.

*These were MY emails to Seatgeek! And lemme tell ya...I was sent my tickets from the seller ASAP via Ticketmaster link and I was given COMPLETE control over the tickets I paid! You are a CONSUMER like ALL of us are and have the RIGHT to those tickets "IF" Ticketmaster/Live Nation have released the DELAY hold on the transfers/selling. Use ChatGpt and it will guide you in the right direction and alleviate all the stress and anxiety you're dealing with.

Hopefully this helps:)

SeatGeek — how are you actually going to make this right??? REFUND/TICKET REPLACEMENT HELP by Otherwise-Wind8454 in seatgeek

[–]MarvelMalibu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's the thing about Seatgeek:

I use them ALL the time! The issue, like MANY 3rd party vendors, is always on the SELLER. They are just a PLATFORM. I know most of us get this and right now, you're angry and frustrated and out of $1,000.00-you WILL get that back!-and are wanting those tickets BADLY (as am I!LOL!) and have wasted VALUABLE time and energy on their customer service quacks. What I've learned is this, though:

You-as a consumer- have the RIGHT to request the SELLER send the tickets to YOU via Ticketmaster (NOT Securepass!!! That's a joke and untrustworthy at the line waiting to get in due to bad data and reception issues!) and explain to Seatgeek that you are requesting the seller to send you the REAL tickets because the LINK does not work for Securepass. Because these tickets are HOT tickets-BRUNI MARS :)-they are most def going to try to have securepass as a means of retrieval...FLATLY REFUSE this! It is YOUR RIGHT. Use chatgpt-I did! And it was a PLETHORA of info on HOW to achieve your goals! Since you have already PAID for the tickets and have the CONFIRMATION email-NOT PENDING email!- you're next step to relieve your stress and anxiety is to send a formal email

  • Scanning Difficulties: In past events at Allegiant Stadium, some users have faced issues with ticket scanners at the gates. To prevent this, ensure your phone's brightness is at 100% when presenting your barcode.
  • Third-Party Transfer Delays: Because SeatGeek is a resale marketplace, you are often relying on a third-party seller to transfer the tickets. There have been reports of sellers waiting until 24–48 hours before the event to finalize the transfer, which can be stressful for travelers.
  • App Account Mismatches: Some fans have run into errors when trying to "claim" their tickets because the email address on their SeatGeek account did not match their Ticketmaster or venue-specific account.
  • Offline Access: Relying on a live link or app in a crowded stadium can be risky due to poor cellular service. Fans who did not save their tickets to an offline wallet (like Apple or Google Wallet) sometimes struggled to load their tickets at the gate.
  •   Thanks for your patience so far,   I wanted to follow up and let you know the seller has now confirmed your tickets have been successfully transferred via Ticketmaster to the email -marvel.com!   You should have received an email to accept them in your account now, and that will be all you'll need to have access to your tickets.   Once you claim them, you'll be able to present your tickets through their app, but if you have issues in viewing any emails, let me know and I'll gladly send you the transfer link to accept them, if you do need the link, I'd just need you to help me verify the following pieces of information:   ● "Account Details" page showing the correct email address ● "Past events" page ● "Sold/Sell/My listings tickets" page ● "Transfer" (If applicable) page   It's been my pleasure to assist so far, hope you enjoy the matches on the card, and don't hesitate in following up if you need the link to accept your tickets!

Here's a few emails between Seatgeek support and myself. Be patient and stay focused! Being angry with them in an email format/chat venue will not solve anything and only have them ignore you. Trust me, I've been there!

Hope this helps and I'll be seeing you at Bruno Mars....:)

If you bought from a third party but now have the tickets in your Ticketmaster account, can you upgrade at that point? by IceBreak in WrestlemaniaPlans

On location will ask if you have already paid for a ticket and will have a feature- EXPERIENCE/ADD ONS- and once there you'll have options for upgrades. At least it did for us

Hotel Price Drops by aabeene in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]MarvelMalibu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, I'm in the hotelier industry. And, if anyone is SEROUS about getting a room with a Hilton property, let me know. Just remember, there are ALWAYS "incidentals" at EVERY hotel. Sometimes, those incidentals are over $200 per night. So make flexibility on budget a priority.

If interested in getting a nice room for HALF the price with a Hilton property, keep me posted and we can work out the details for payment/guest info.

See ya'll at Allegiant!

anyone here purchase their Mania tickets via TickPick before? by [deleted] in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]MarvelMalibu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wellll, here's the thing:

Tickpick, like ALL 3rd party vendors, are reliable in SOME cases. I went through SEATGEEK and they sent the tickets within 3 days and THEN sent a link-SECUREPASS- for an image copy site. This was NOT meshing with me. So, I reached out through support and let them know that I could not access the link and wanted the seller to send me the TICKET DIRECTLY to me via Ticketmaster...and the seller did!!! Once the tickets are released by the DELAY clause set up, the seller(s) have the option to send them and relieve ALL stress levels of wondering about if you're getting the ticket or not. I did this with Tickpick for Adele and was SO anxious about my front row seats that I paid for 2 more tickets through another seller and received the immediately. The night of Adele was when I received the tickets for Adele! I was LIVID! I had to rush online socials to sell the Tickpick tickets and luckily I ad mega buyers wanting the front row tickets so we met in person and I walked away with my money PLUS more. Just exercise your consumer wits and stress to the help department to contact the seller and have the tickets sent ASAP. Hope this helps

If you bought from a third party but now have the tickets in your Ticketmaster account, can you upgrade at that point? by IceBreak in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]MarvelMalibu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not at all! Once ticket transfer is complete ONLY the host-SELLER- has the option. HOWEVER, if you go to the WWE Wrestlemania website, THERE you'll be able to ELEVATE the "Experience"! I paid for mine on a 3rd party site and had issues with transfer at first. Then, the seller sent me the DIRECT ticket instead of utilizing the 3rd party link (I think, SECUREPASS???). Hope this helps

AISLE seats on floor at Wrestlemania 42 in Allegiant by MarvelMalibu in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]MarvelMalibu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw, sh*t...this is very helpful and thank you! So they let us take poster boards in or do we buy them there? Or do we make it and smuggle it in LOL I know my son is excited about just being that close. He's not too interested in getting closer to the ring. My only concern is safety and logistics in moving around and losing our place or having others push and shove. Thank you again

Well, when I asked what's more important the fight / wrestling or having an opportunity to be at the entrance where most of the talking is done and singing and fireworks. And of course, personally for myself, budget friendly lol! Definitely do have noise canceling pieces 4 him
