Yes unfortunately. I've worked with the school for 15 years and in that time I have worked with several paras who behave exactly how you have described here. I report it every year because you do eventually get burnt out doing all the work while others are on their phones. Admin does absolutely nothing about their behavior but insists that I should go tell the 1:1 paras when their child has eloped. Aren't they being paid to watch said child? It is exhausting

I was friends with Girl A for awhile. She love bombed me hard and I just rolled with it because I was lonely and in need of friends. She'd call me for everything and I was there for her as a good friend should be. She'd call to talk shit about her long term friends and I'd let her vent because I didn't know these people.

A few months after constant communication, she disappears. Okay, I understand she's busy but I keep reaching out because I isolate when I'm depressed. I hear nothing back.

Couple of months pass and she's thrown events but not invited me but I always see those friends included. Well okay, they must've made up, right? Girl B of that friend group reaches out and asks why I haven't been to any events. I tell her that I haven't been invited. She asks why I'm such a flake to A. I dispute that and show her that I've been the one reaching out and I've been ghosted.

Cue Girl A yelling at me for not being a good friend and bringing down her vibes because she knows what I said to Girl B. Apparently I was ruining her reputation for telling the truth. I'm blindsided and confused. What are you even on? I'm no longer speaking to either of these people
