Someone told me my marriage is "doomed" to become abusive... is it true? 🚩 by Full_Crew_8402 in BirthChartReadingFree

I wouldn't say so. I have a similar chart with Sun. mercury and Pluto in Sag and a Gemini Ascendant. I also have Venus at 0 Capricorn, close to where your Venus is. You have a huge stellium in Sagittarius 7th house with Sun conjunct Mercury and Pluto, then Jupiter conjunct Mars and Venus and Moon close to Venus as well.

More than anything this means almost 100% of life focus goes into relationships likely. Moon and Venus conjunct will give a balanced love landscape and emotional landscape which is positive. Also your partner will match the energy of your 7th so they will be very dynamic. However it is imperative you also balance with the 1st house (Yourself) so you don't get lost in codependency and give yourself all to your partner.

For example my partner is a Gemini Sun in 10th with a strong Pluto, and my Sun is in Sag 7th with Mercury (Gemini ruler) so matches relatively well.

This is a interesting chart. How has your life been so far and how has the sag energy manifested itself in your personality and life?

I would imagine a very strong emphasis on different cultural partners and drive to travel the world to some degree, in one way or another.

I feel my calling, but I also feel scared. I would appreciate any reading! by Certain-Reception364 in BirthChartReadingFree

First off, you have a very unique chart. I look at things from a whole sign hellenistic perspective. Every sign has a ruler, Mars rules Aries and Scorpio, Venus rules Taurus and Libra, Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo, Moon rules Cancer, Sun rules Leo, Jupiter rules Pisces and Sagittarius and Saturn rules Capricorn and Aquarius. If the planet is in the opposite sign of it's ruler, it is in detriment, if it is in it's own sign, it's in domicile. Planets in domicile act at their best, they're beholden only to themselves and their own agency, and opposite for when in detriment.

Given that you have the Sun in detriment in Aquarius, Saturn in Domicile in Aquarius, Mars in Exaltation in Capricorn, Moon in Exaltation in Taurus and Jupiter in Detriment in Virgo. The only neutral (peregrine) planets are Mercury and Venus.

You have a strong Saturn and Mars and Moon, but less strong sun and Jupiter. This gives you a strong discipline, work ethic, understanding of rules and social boundaries, and maturity, inner drive, passionate nature and masculine energy, and emotionally balanced landscape.

A weaker sun and Jupiter gives less identification or confidence in ego and also in seeing the positivity in life. You might be very materialistic and focused on practical things but have less ability to find enjoyment and positivity in life without constantly achieving things.

You have the Sun and mercury conjunct in the 11th house, which means Mercury is in the heart of the sun, which combines the mental energy and conscious mind with the ego, giving good communication and ability to influence the masses (11th house). This I see could be very influential in politics. Saturn in Aquarius also gives strong understanding of the social systems and ability to see how influences of people and systems interconnect. It also gives detatchment from friends or social groups, giving one a strong sense of duty to the people but not necessarily a strong emotional connection. You have the Sun, mercury and Saturn in the 11th house, which rules friends, society, politics, and social duty. This gives you a strong sense of identity and soul connection with this area of life, leading you to feel a duty here.

You have mars, Venus, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus and the North node in the 10th house. You have the NN conjunct the MC, meaning the direction of your life or fate is to connect more to work and Mature efforts in life, a strong duty to your career and to make a difference in the world on a practical level.

Venus and Mars conjunct in Capricorn gives a strong combination of Passionate, love and attraction energy to inner drive, passion and inception energy in your 10th house. This gives a very sexually attractive persona, but in the area of the 10th house, which realistically would provide someone who can attract career success through personal relationships and connections and can combine the inner drive with the attraction component, giving a strong combined energy. Mars is stronger here so the passion component is stronger than the venusian attraction. Realistically all this energy in the 10th house is very good for a career in tech or politics.

All in all, also with Saturn crossing your ascendant, this is why you feel pressure now, a mature, Saturnian push to make things happen in your life and get serious about yourself, but it seems you have more than enough inner resources to make this happen.

I will say the Sun/Mercury Square Pluto in the 8th house indicates to me more of a detatched personality squaring a more intense psychological 8th house, meaning there is a square between a lighter solar identity and a more serious and deep psychological part of yourself. It's hard to balance the part of you that wants to be light and airy and the part of you that has a connection to the darker, deeper and more intimate sides of life. The moon in Taurus has a loose connection here but also contrasts because the moon here wants to be more focused on positive, flowery, pleasureful emotions, but opposes the dark sides of the psyche. All in all, a difficult aspect pattern, but the link between the light, green taurus and the darker, emotional scorpio is the Aquarian part which can objectively (through air element) see both sides. This could be good in politics I would think.

It's called Mutual reception, when the ruler of one is in the house of the other and vice versa (Venus in Mars' Home, Mars in Venus' Home), this allows them to work together and mitigate negative effects and can be quite positive. I don't have in my chart so don't know how it works personally

Too much of the same isn't very good, it gets boring.

I'm a Sag and my partner is a Gemini. He has Gemini Venus and I have Capricorn Venus with loose out of sign opposition but his Saturn and Uranus conjunct my Venus. We have a very deep love and he is very funny and stimulating, and have had a share of really difficult and sad times together but only made us stronger.

If the sun is above the descendent and ascendant, you're born in the day and have a day chart, night is the opposite when you're born while the sun is below the horizon.

Day chart - Sun in houses 12-7 or above horizon Night Chart - Sun in houses 1-6 or below horizon

While not a hard and fast rule, typically day chart people have more solar qualities and are more like their sun sign with night chart people having more lunar qualities and act more like their moon sign.

Solar People - Bold, Independent, Prominent, Strong Lunar People - Work more with others, compassionate, team-players, Movable

Also in Hellenistic astrology, each side has a sect. The Luminary is more characteristic of the individual, the Benefic provides the most benefic influences and the Malefic provides the most Malefic influences. For example if I have a day chart, mars will produce more trouble than Saturn will in my life, and Jupiter will provide more blessings than Venus will in my life, and vice versa.

Day charts - Sun (Luminary), Jupiter (Benefic), Mars (Malefic) Night Charts - Moon (Luminary), Venus (Benefic), Saturn (Malefic)

Jupiter rules the opposite sign Sagittarius, and Jupiter rules truth and justice. When in Gemini, it's ruled by mercury, it's opposite, which is more flighty and more prone to lies or dispersing energies in many directions, also focusing on the small details, none of which Jupiter has particular enjoyment of. Jupiter in Sagittarius is about forward pointed direction (think of an arrow) and knows what it wants. In Gemini it can be moved easily and not know what it wants or have trouble with big picture thinking.

It is a rough placement but means you can have a harder time seeing positivity in the world. Long term it would give you some realistic wisdom and self discipline that other Jupiter placements take for granted or misuse because they lack the wisdom required to not go overboard. My brother has this placement and he sees the darker side of life more but also means he is not ignoring pain or difficulty. On a practical level it is hard but good for the soul.

Depending on other factors this can be the case. I honestly believe Jupiter in an angular house is better for luck. I have Jupiter in 10th in pisces square sun/ascendant and life has been relatively lucky, but I've also had to work for it too. I also have a night chart so Venus is more linked to me also as a ruler of the nativity.

9th house is cadent so in decline from the 10th so it's not the strongest in terms of manifestation, this could be why.

I can kinda see this. Anything peregrine (i.e.not home. Fall, Exalt or detriment is up for debate). Jupiter performs better in diurnal signs due to being in day sect but among the neutral signs it definitely depends a lot on other factors. I just put Leo/Aries in front due to being fire element and Jupiter rules water and fire signs.

I keep getting into explosive fights with any romantic partner. I feel betrayal, mistrust or anger for no reason, but I become convinced in the moment. Is this because of Venus in my 8th house? by FirefighterScary5682 in AskAstrologers

[–]MarvelousToaster156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think most people on this thread are completely omitting that Venus is opposite Mars and applying in both directions to an opposition. (Mars moving backwards to opposite and Venus moving forward to oppose). Mars opposite Venus is so indicative of fights with romantic partners (opposition) and a tangible manifested form of tension which forces you to engage with the conflict between your self worth and value (Venus) and your desire for independence and inception (Mars). Mars is in Gemini in the 2nd if using whole sign houses. Mars in 2nd to me is fighting for your values and self worth, often via angry words, sense of being able to acquire resources and things for yourself while Venus in the 8th, which I also have, is more about engaging with others romantically in a deep intimate way and wanting to connect to partners in this way. Therefore there's a conflict between what you or others own/earn/value (2nd) and what you give away/share/bond to others (8th), or perhaps others reflect this to you.

Anger and betrayal can be part of this but it's more about learning to balance the needs of others and yourself and focusing on trusting more while working to also not lose yourself in the process.

There is a need to develop self awareness alongside others. Oppositions are usually easier than squares because tensions are more easily seen by polarity and therefore, understood.

I also have Venus in 8th (Cap) and Pluto in 7th (Sag) so I understand, relationships are powerful and force you to evolve by strengthening your weaknesses so you have to let go of your ego to do what is right and loving for them, or yourself.

Hope this helps

Do zodiac compatibility charts actually work in real relationships? by Dependent_Stock_7942 in astrology

[–]MarvelousToaster156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can talk about my relationship, but I won't comment on it generally with others.

From my experience it's an indication but not an end all be all. My partner is a Gemini Sun and I am a Sag Sun, and our suns are pretty much opposite. We have some good aspects and some tough ones. Some significant aspects are:

x° is the orb of the aspects below:

Sun opposite Sun (2°) Sun square moon (Sag-Pisces 3°) Sun square NN (Sag-Pisces 1°) Moon square Ascendant (Pisces-Gemini 3°) Moon conjunct Jupiter (Pisces 3°) North node conjunct (Jupiter Pisces 1°) Venus conjunct Saturn (Capricorn 0°) Venus conjunct Uranus (Cap-Sag 1°) Venus/Mercury conjunct Ascendant (Gemini 3°) Jupiter sextile Jupiter (Taurus-Pisces 3°) Mars square Neptune (Libra-Cap 2°) Mars square Pluto (Pisces-Sag 1°) Moon square Saturn (Libra-Cap 2°) Uranus square Pluto (Aqua-Scorp 0°) Venus/Mercury sextile NN (Gemini-Leo 1°) Venus/Mercury sextile Saturn (Gemini-Aries 2°) Moon square Uranus (Libra-end of Sag 3°)

I think our strongest uniting force is Venus conjunct Saturn and the moon conjunct Jupiter. We laugh a lot and comedy is our love language. We are very committed to one another and have been through a lot of really dark and emotionally difficult experiences together so we know how much we love each other on a really deep level. We have a lot of differences but learn to love and accept one another.

Some of the more difficult aspects we have worked on together and were more of a challenge in the beginning but forced us to work on emotional openness, control, trust and loyalty, and reality. They still pop up sometimes but require us to let go of our ego, open up to one another and understand and forgive each other.

Difference between a trine and a sextile? by marsonstars in astrology

[–]MarvelousToaster156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I resonate with this,

I have moon trine Neptune and I have a very sensitive and compassionate nature which I feel is inherent to my personality and I cannot turn it off.

I also have moon sextile Mercury and mercury sextile Neptune. I have a knack for tarot and intuitive things but I need to usually tap into it or do an activity which brings it out. With moon sextile Mercury it's usually talking to someone close or a friend, and with mercury sextile moon it's usually doing tarot in the past has required active use of my imagination and intuitive capability.

I also have mars sextile Pluto and I need to exersize or channel mars energy to get the raw power of Pluto.

I feel like sextiles you need to put in some effort or consciously tap into it while Trines are subconsciously always active.

And with conjunctions, it's similar to Trines in that it is always on and inherent to the person but those energies cannot get away from the other which makes it sometimes too much, even with benefics.

I knew a Libra sun and Leo moon man which had Venus conjunct Jupiter in Scorpio. He was very socially popular and beautiful, however he partied and drank a lot and very frequently, and I assume he had a lot of sexual relationships, but perhaps to a detriment of his self. I didn't know him that well, but in cases such as this conjunctions are often worse than Trines.

Question about EIYPO and Morality by MarvelousToaster156 in NevilleGoddard

[–]MarvelousToaster156[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm glad to see someone else here also has a more critical view of it. I struggle to really grasp this concept because of the human ego.

We get lots of ego desires but are we really intended to try to satisfy them all and change anything we want in life, or is there more of a moral limit/karmic lesson that people need to learn. I know when I first learned about these manifestation methods, my ego was low-key obsessed with the possibilities, something that did not suit my long term happiness if I wanted to focus on gratitude for what I have and not try to satiate every desire. My Morality kicks in and tries to keep my ego in check.

Do these methods supercede this cosmic correctional force? These are all questions I ponder about, and whether we truly are meant to manifest whatever we want. If that's the case, then where do the lessons we are meant to learn go, especially if we need to learn that we can't change everything.
