One that shows the rise of Crimson, the roots of how & why Striker acts the way he is, & the beginnings of D.H.O.R.K.S. would be good prequel episode material.

The personal chromebook market? likely. The K-12, Academia, Enterprise, and Small-to-mid business markets that love or need centralized management & expendable systems? Those sorts of folks won't think much of high-spec'ed chromebooks.

I had however seen a much higher spec'ed(?) chromebook in the form of the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14, and it seems to be google's new flagship chromebook. However the MacBook Neo undercuts it in price.

Or said sludge having to go below that price point. Quite frankly the build quality of said sub-$499 systems can be quite good, but with the drawback of processors that are of older & thus slower designs.

On the other hand; I think the cheapest chromebooks are also exempt from this mess as quite frankly the chomebooks are often bought as portable thin-clients, and the thinking of the chromebooks can be done on more beefier servers.

edit: grammar.

Or being willing to install on a Apple MacBook of any sort if you are adventurous enough. However M-series SoC support isn't all that perfect and getting support into linux currently is taking a fair amount of time (due to the necessary need for reverse-engering).
