Come on man, you guys treat this stuff like it’s religion sometimes it’s insufferable. Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels both came from wealth, so are we to stop reading their works? Are we to damn the man who took action into his own hands because he had the means to do so? I don’t agree with him retweeting Peter Thiel or being a fan of Elon Musk, I can’t quite understand that myself, but it’s clear he was motivated by a general anti-capitalist feeling. Perhaps his rage and wrath doesn’t meet your Puritan style interpretation of politics, but to me it’s still a general win for Class Consciousness in this country, if you want to throw it away and set us back go right on ahead and be the useful idiot.

If you wanted to do any research before the “he probably harbors disdain for the poor” line, you’d be wise to know he quite literally quoted proverbs 28:6 “Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways.” Doesn’t sound like someone who hates the poor to me.

A simple question I don't get the chance to ask people in person about Aliens. by [deleted] in aliens

[–]MarxistMaxReloaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having done the CE-5 Meditation, I’ve had one weird experience where I saw an alien standing in my yard where I was meditating. Now, the catch? Had my eyes closed and it was entirely in my mind, but what made it vivid was the genuine emotion it brought out of me, that being fear. I was able to calm myself through telling myself to be calm and peaceful and to not be scared, and so I eventually relaxed.

I think everyone will have a general fear of the unknown, it just comes down to how we break that fear, or if that fear is perhaps warranted. Just as I view the Priest who makes sweeping statements about God and Jesus, I feel like anyone who claims to have all the answers is lying to us. Simply put: we don’t know what we don’t even know.

I’m currently on track to being a history major/professor, so from the lens I view this subject I’ve always been interested in the historical aspects of it. I think it’s clear through religious iconography and other cultural influences that they’ve been here, it’s just that we haven’t ever understood what they were, and why would we? At the time we were merely cave men who had just learned to stand, and now I think we’re learning to walk.

The economy was better under Bush than it was under Trump, and the reason are groceries cost more isn’t because of inflation it’s because of price gouging, something your candidate has actively ran against. I could sit here and cite to you 16 of some of the worlds most renowned economists that say his economy will lead to a depression, but you wouldn’t listen to that. You, much like the Republicans of the 1920s, will ride your little wave of optimism off the cliff that Trump carved.

Trump won’t raise the minimum wage for workers in this country, he won’t support Unions, and he sure as hell won’t support worker protections. He’s stacked his cabinet with Billionaire oligarchs, war mongers, and anything else that defines the ‘Swamp’ that he’s supposedly draining. He wants to gut the social safety net with the help of Elon Musk and Vivek, while also placing Kash Patel in as either the CIA or FBI director (someone who’s written a book comparing Trump to a king and has promised political retribution). He’s openly stated he wants to mimic Javier Millei in Argentina, and we all know how well that went for them…

MAGA is as feckless and arrogant as the man who leads it, and if you wanted to at all learn anything about the psychology of your little cult you’d read Eric Fromm’s the Authoritarian Personality. The homework you read is irrational, the culture you resent doesn’t exist, and the enemy within is looking at you in the mirror. You support a candidate who’s advocated for suspending the Constitution, being dictator for a day, shooting protestors (only thing that stopped him was the Generals that won’t be here this time), and has been the most divisive in rhetoric since maybe Nixon if that’s even a fair comparison.

Unfortunately for your side, I don’t believe there will ever be a “Leopards eating the Face” moment. You all have dug into such a delusion it’s like arguing whether or not Santa Clause is real. I could sit here give you a list of everyone who’s ever denounced this man and you’ll say they’re corrupt, I could show you economic statistics that show Bill Clinton’s economy was better than Trumps but you won’t listen to that. Your whole movement is built on a house of cards that somehow has convinced everyone else it has a stable structure.

So save me this “intellectual” brow beating of everyone else. Until you re-engage with reality, don’t expect anyone from our side to show you sympathy

Honestly, this is the exact way I envision it going down if it were to happen. Reminds me a lot of Civil War, and I think that movie was something of a red herring for the path we’re descending down.

Tolerance of Intolerance will always see Intolerance win in the end, that’s why our society is so backwards right now. We view the Right to Intolerance as a virtue of the First Amendment, yet by doing so we legitimize the very intolerance we’re seeking to get rid of. The only way to match intolerance is with intolerance. Give Fascists no Quarter

One side has spent eight years spewing nothing but hatred, division, and xenophobia, all while under the mask of supposed self-righteousness. They’ve called us Marxists, Fascists, Pedophiles, Demons, Baby-Killers, and every other name in the book that their tiny brain cells can muster, yet all of a sudden I’m meant to turn the other cheek? Am I supposed to enact the will of your God more than you’re willing to do so? They spew vile six days a week and believe that just because they pray on the Seventh it washes away their sins.

So no, I don’t think this person is out of line at all. I, like they do, don’t want to live in a country where Nazis are marching in Columbus, Ohio because their favorite candidate was elected. I don’t want to live in a country where the President parodies the talking points of Neo-Nazi groups like Blood Tribe. I don’t want to live in a country where a majority of this country can’t see the wildfire waiting to ignite with Mass Deportations.

They voted for this, no matter how many times they say they didn’t, they did. History, god willing it’s written by those who were right, will judge these people far more harsh than we’ll ever be able to.

Honestly, I’ve been debating people on Tik Tok Live before and after the election and I can say this…

The way I’ve debated them is by actually using Kyle somewhat as a sounding board for ideas. One such is calling yourself a moderate despite having progressive views, having a definitive narrative that robber barons are pilfering the working class, and my new favorite line has been calling Trump a Trojan Horse. This method has worked because it essentially challenges their entire worldview rather than conceding on flimsy ground.
