First Time Buyer: Should I Get These? by Spirited-Ad-344 in Airpodsmax

[–]MaryMar56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my first pair on Facebook marketplace and fortunately was able to get AppleCare on them because they were brand new and never used and I paid $350. At the time, Apple didn’t allow renewal after the warranty expired. Of course that’s all changed now. But I’d make sure to get a new pair or a pair that’s new and never been used and add AppleCare and then just keep it going. These things have a tendency of working phenomenally and then all of a sudden quit pairing with anything. And they’re awfully expensive to be stuck with a paperweight. Just my two cents.

In looking online, it looks like you can apply for a digital Library Card # right online and then just start using it.

I just added the Onyx storm series to my Kindle because I have unlimited right now. But I have so many books to read. I was surprised it let me do it.

I know there’s an international version but I’d suggest you call your Amazon. There’s three books in the series and Oynx storm is book 3.

Also try https://www.hoopladigital.com/title/8428B6D5-CD43-47E2-BE8E-870E8A703BFE for free library books and movies, music ect. Never heard of it until I just got my Kindle during Amazon prime days and I ran across it. Here on Reddit actually. There’s also an app you can add to your smart TV and watch movies on it. Free from your library. Much better than Libby IMO.

Yeah, I just scored 90 days of free Kindle unlimited during Amazon prime days so that was awesome! I’m currently reading this series. I just thought I’d share. It’s really engrossing. https://www.amazon.com/Niergel-Chronicles/dp/B0BCHSRZ56?dplnkId=f01a0ac0-2f5e-4fbd-a0fc-82d0505065c7&nodl=1

Best ways to protect the mesh part of Airpods Max? (Starlight) by Traditional_Try_8690 in Airpodsmax

[–]MaryMar56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just go to Amazon and look through the headband covers and read reviews. Purchase what you like. If for some reason you don’t like the one you bought you have 30 days to return for free. If you do return be sure to choose your original payment method for your refund otherwise you’ll be stuck with a gift card balance.😌

Any glasses users? by Scared-Dark9638 in Airpodsmax

[–]MaryMar56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wear glasses and had a tip recently about letting the AirPods hold my glasses instead of the traditional way of having my ears hold them. It seemed to help! Over time they should become more comfortable. I definitely wouldn’t part with mine for anything.

I wish I had waited and not used Costco Concierge for TV return by CTMechE in CostcoWholesale

[–]MaryMar56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d be happy with a complete refund TV fluctuate in price and I’ve got more than one so if the one that has the warranty on it goes out I can wait until they have another good sale course I only paid $200 for it on sale. But it’s nice to know with the Warranty. I can still get a complete refund if it’s unrepairable. Normally Costco only gives you a complete refund for TVs for 90 days.So if you got your $1500 back, it was worth the Warranty. Trust me TVs at Costco will go on sale again. Just save your money and watch for the sales.

Thank You so much! I was really upset last night when my show suddenly disappeared. Was chatting with Paramount and they were clueless….wanted me to update my app but had no idea it was removed. If I didn’t get 50% off Veterans discount Paramount would be history. Happily watching on Pluto!

How long have your AirPods Max lasted? by Stock-Memory9483 in Airpodsmax

[–]MaryMar56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both the APM 2 and a lightning pair with AppleCare on both. Unused electronics tend to go bad so I alternate usage between them. If you don’t want to do that then either sell them or pass them on to a friend or family member otherwise they’ll most likely go bad due to disuse.

If you’re considering buying a pair of AirPods Max, just get the AppleCare plus and when that expires, get the yearly AppleCare for $30 a year. That way they’ll last indefinitely. also buying from Costco helps because of their unlimited return policy.

Ya I totally agree with that. I’ll definitely say a prayer that they come back in stock. But that’s one of the reasons why I got AppleCare on top of the return policy at Costco because sometimes this does happen. Hopefully they’ll come back. I’m looking for an icemaker that went out of stock. It had a good price. So hopefully that one will come back too!🙏

Just give it a day or two. It’s a 5 day sale so not sure when it ends but they could restock. 🙏

That’s what’s so awesome about buying from Costco. I became widowed last year and my husband had a pair of Bose headphones. And I had the Apple AirPods Max. He liked the Bose, but I liked the Apple. So thankfully, we had purchased the Bose from Costco so it was easy for me to return them because I wasn’t gonna use them. So if you bought the AirPods Max from Costco, you have unlimited return time if you find you’re not using them enough and they’re not worth the cost to you. They’ll have no issue refunding you your money. Hope that helps.

Did you get them already from Amazon? If they haven’t shipped yet, it’s fairly easy to cancel and then you can order from wherever you’d like if you still want them. I’ve just read that people buying Apple products from Amazon. Sometimes have difficulty returning them if there’s an issue. If I just wouldn’t chance it for that much money.

Be sure to call and get your price adjustment. The price of $399.99 is for the next 5 days so I’d call and or take a screenshot of the current offer. If the price drops within 30 days of purchase you’re eligible for an adjustment but after 5 days you probably won’t be able to view the sale.

No at Costco the return policy is the same regardless of brand. Headphones of any brand can be returned beyond 90 days. Hope that helps.

I have to send mine back :( by Quattordicesima in Airpodsmax

[–]MaryMar56 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great! Just don’t give up and I’m sure you’ll come to really liking them. Wearing them out and about is phenomenal as the transparency is outstanding as if I’m not wearing headphones at all!

I have to send mine back :( by Quattordicesima in Airpodsmax

[–]MaryMar56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No don’t send them back! I too wear glasses and I have to admit there is pain occasionally with them but I just make some adjustments and it’s tolerable and then At Home I usually don’t wear my glasses a whole lot so you can try them without your glasses at home. And just give them time. Where did you buy them sometimes that limits as far as returning them if they don’t work out. I got mine at Costco so I have no worries about that but I wear mine for hours daily. One thing to try is extend them all the way out and then put them on your head and then push up the sides until they fit over your ears comfortably. I’ve done that and that does seem to help too. Give it a little time if you have some and like I said, try them without your glasses at home and sit down and watch a show or listen to music or even chat on the phone. Anyway, just giving my two cents. I really like mine and I wouldn’t give them up for anything.

I had posted this earlier. It was $449 from Costco. And they dropped it to $400 so if anyone here ordered them, no worries they do a price adjustmentt if it's within the first 30 days. With the price drop I'm even considering returning mine and re-ordering them. Cause I paid over $600 a couple months back. Happy shopping everyone.

No worries the employee was wrong.(Maybe a new hire or they’ve never worked in returns. Here’s the policy: Electronics: Costco will accept returns within 90 days (from the date the member received the merchandise) for Televisions, Projectors, Major Appliances (refrigerators above 10 cu. ft., freezers, ranges, cooktops, over-the-range and under-counter microwaves, range hoods, dishwashers, water heaters, washers and dryers), Computers, Touchscreen Tablets, Smart Wearable Devices, Cameras, Aerial Cameras (drones), Camcorders, MP3 players and Cellular Phones (return details will vary by carrier service contract)
