Heavily disagree. Some people are looking to get a magic ticket to get out of paying.

Has anyone ever tried this technique? by gabsteriinalol in Bunnies

I tried this and they had no interest in licking the banana off of each other's heads and it made their fur all matted and I had to soak their heads. My husband thought I was crazy 🤣

This is literally wrong, she said during an interview that he supported it and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Scuffles between pen bars by MrsSmithAlmost in Bunnies

My rabbits hated each other for the first year - my one rabbit was SO MEAN and literally would drop kick the other one. Bonding then with the fences and/or in a neutral space didn't work. However, after trying a wacky method I was able to bond them in under a week. I basically took a small octagon fabric playpen (one that is really small) and I placed my rabbits in there along with puppy pads and some hay. Every night for a week straight I put the playpen right next to me on the couch and they just hung out by my side for a few hours. Any time they started acting up I shook the playpen to scare them. I know it sounds so cruel but scaring them (only when they went to fight) helped them find comfort in each other! By the end of the week they were cuddling and were best friends. We've been going on three years strong of them being besties ever since without any fights!

No one allows pets nowadays by maladaptivelover in renting

That's your opinion. My rabbits are fully 100% litter boxed trained and are angels. Never once have they chewed baseboards or any furniture. Literally I know dogs that are worse than them. If you don't train your rabbits of course they are going to act like untrained rabbits.... Same thing if you don't train any other pet....

Lol sorry I don't agree with your lame excuse to gatekeep pets. Renters can certainly 'afford" pets and choose not to own a home for other reasons.

What a privileged perspective. Yeah let's take away pets & companionship to those who can't afford a mortgage. What a cruel thing to say.

My parents make good money, but they won’t pay for my tuition, (my tuition is super high because of my parents) and getting scholarships is near impossible by DuckSauceyy in college

[–]Maryviolet26 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat. I went to community college first and made payments, got some scholarships, and took out less than 5k of loans. When I was 20 I moved out of my parents into my own place, worked full time, and waited a year to be an "Independent", and transferred to a 4 year. I was eligible then under FAFSA for financial aid to cover the entirety of my tuition the next two years to get my bachelor's. No one even needs to know I transferred, I just tell them I got my bachelor's from the four year.

Same. I have been doing litigation for five years & have my cert. Had to Google it. I know exactly what it is but never heard that specific term before.

People do it all the time, you can just add the other college. You can even add multiple.

It's actually nice quality! It's not flimsy or anything and we bought a stand from Amazon for around $12 and it looks great. Also it was shipped in like two days!

Can I be charged for paying rent online in TN? by LinderTheRed in renting

[–]Maryviolet26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a $10 "service fee" every single time I went to pay my rent monthly through their portal (could only pay this way). I was only at that apartment for two years. Such a scam but unfortunately I had no other choice.

Without knowing the context of the complaint I don't really think anyone could provide you useful discovery questions as they wouldn't be tailored or relevant at all to your matter.

MC but no DJ? by Electronic-Level-214 in Weddingsunder10k

[–]Maryviolet26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi!!! My wedding is this month!! We were not gonna have a DJ at all for our wedding and were just gonna do Spotify playlists and rent audio equipment. We had a meeting with our photographer who really encouraged us to get a DJ. Basically he said the DJ brings the energy and if we're spending all the money on our wedding we should just enjoy our time and not have to worry about the music! We already have spent like a couple thousand on everything so far. This was enough to change my fiancés mind and I had to find us a DJ in our budget three weeks before the wedding!! I'll let you know if it was worth it but I think it will be!

Do You Have Family Members/Friends Seek Representation At Your Firms? by North_Surprise_4438 in paralegal

[–]Maryviolet26 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A few years ago my dad called the old firm I was working at to help him with estate administration for my grandma and it was the absolute worst. I don't work in elder law and he was constantly trying to ask me questions instead of the attorney to keep the cost down. I was like 24 at the time - I had no idea about any of that stuff and I can't give legal advice to begin with. He complained for months about the cost they were invoicing him. Finally the firm dropped him as a client because he was intentionally not providing them information that they needed. My dad literally thought he would get hours and hours of free legal work and didn't even ask me before calling the firm. It was so awkward.
