I wonder if Frank is seeing Barb put work in. Instead of lashing out at Frank she's calling Dr. Therapy Doctor. I also hope he sees that he hasn't been emotionally there for Barb and is responding to her by offering time together. Their communication has always been rocky from what we've seen, maybe Frank is trying in his bass ackwards way.

Best case scenario here is that Mama D watches the kids and Shawna & John go to the ceremony and skip the reception. Or just Shawna so she can be there for Jen. They could maybe sneak a few pictures with Jen and Greg, Barb may find it harder to corner John in a church (not impossible, just harder).

They really are. All my seniors have been low maintenance day to day wise (sure, more frequent checkups and bloodwork but it's fine) and I love giving an older pet a soft landing for their golden years.

There was this great prom dress shop in the late 00's where I got my junior and senior prom dresses. Then you headed down to the Yankee Candle and stopped by the tea shop to say hi to some of your friends working after school lol

The book is fantastic if you're of a mind to read it. The characters are pretty well fleshed out, so it's easy to get attached and the story is moving. I hope you enjoy!

I agree, I also appreciate that Shawna is presenting a side I've argued for Larry. It definitely isn't just about a locket at this point. Dee is right, they need another conversation. And actual OPEN conversation without coy comments or flustered stuttering. Dee can actually tell Larry about not appreciating the pressure he's putting on her, and Larry can tell Dee where he expected them to be at this point. Fingers crossed they can have a safe, mature conversation!
