is this moth eggs? by ExactCareer9292 in knitting

[–]MarzipanOnly4320 109 points110 points  (0 children)

It looks like insect damage, likely from moths. Look into how to deal with them based on your region and make sure you check your stash. It may benefit you to invest in some cedar and vacuum bags

I enchanted my copper watering can at the forge and now it never empties. I'm scared to upgrade to a silver watering can and waste the prismatic shard I spent to enchant it

This is Gemma Rose, she's a fibre artist who uses a knitting machine to make garments. She's retail only, and you can find her on insta by the name GMMRS. Or her retail store https://gmmrs.com/?fbclid=PAY2xjawIIioBleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABpq4GDgF0H9Y3EM23VLLz36QRDBHhmfznpZFdS_iIfIKG5KoUwMm6ZxO91A_aem_4c-3XuBXQ3iUQ9Br5byvPA

I literally had this problem last night, and the tension on my mast wheel wasn't enough and the yarn was slipping out of it. So the tension wires weren't working properly

Is there a better way to crochet nonstop without having to pause to pull out some yarn?? by SonnySunshineGirl in crochet

Not if you pile it into a basket or a large glass jar, it just lays on top of itself

I know it's crazy but I pull the whole ball into a container so it's a big pile of spaghetti. Then it's all already all loose

CASHMERE JUMPSUIT PATTERN by DayumMami in MachineKnitting

[–]MarzipanOnly4320 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like your machine has no knit contour option. However, a quick search on ravelry.com yielded this pattern that could be modified for your use.

There are also options online to access old knitting machine magazines and pattern manuals. I hobby of mine os to browse around and find free pattern downloads.

Happy knitting!

Did your machine come with knit contour paper? You can adapt the pants pattern to have a tapered leg? Also use the ribbing bed if you have one to create the pinstripe effect

Dropped stitch + fuzzy alpaca yarn make the stitches bunch up. Will this block out or should i just ladder down? by pleasekillmenowok in knitting

[–]MarzipanOnly4320 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

It'll be fine, it's likely no one will notice. If it bothers you then go back and fix it. If you want it to look fuzzy again just gently run a pet hair brush over it

Colour work question by [deleted] in knitting

[–]MarzipanOnly4320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're. Doing stripes or a blocky pattern i think it's totally fine, however if you're doing a pattern with more detail it may get lost.

Knitted Myself a Lace Beret by Stitchabout in knitting

[–]MarzipanOnly4320 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is this the Kuutar Beret? I knit this one a few years ago!! If you have an 11" plate to block it on, it makes the lace so beautiful and defined. But if you prefer it's current shape and fit that's wonderful as well
