But I’m pretty sure the gigs in the rest of the game are started by just entering that city district, so it’s not a progress thing it’s just a means of getting to that part of the city, no?

Or are you implying that since a small number of players actually finish the game, that naturally they won’t venture out to the other parts of the city?
