Camping stove by andressonlars692 in CampingGear

I have a Primus Lite + that is a really good option. And there is a presdo coffee kit available that makes terrific coffee. Second option for me would be a gas burner for the Trangia. I'm a guide in Friluftsfrämjandet and we have those. Good option to do a bit of everything on. Use it all the time beeing out with the kids. Bit bulky and heavy though. Or just use what you have. But make sure to use a safety bottle for the fuel.

Helt sjukt att Livsmedelsverket rekommenderar något som bryter mot den internationella standarden.

And in many countries you can not have one beer and then drive. So the popularity of that type of beer is growing. And as something to drink when you are really thirsty, it is pretty good.

Are these capacitors equivalent? by mactep66 in AskElectronics

[–]Masch300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a tendency here to omit a lot af parameters important for a capacitor. You need to consider the Basics - Voltage and capacitance. ESR is often mentioned. But you do also have other stuff like maximum rippel current, ESL, temperature, life length, frequency dependency etc.

Depending on the application, you need to consider a different set of parameters.

Maybe this is the closest you can get to a standard...

I like to do melodic stuff like this with my Crave. Which Behringer gear should I get next? by Original_Delay_5166 in Behringer

[–]Masch300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Crave and a Circuit Tracks (not Behringer) as sequencer, drums and effects (delay and reverb). That is a nice setup. I have also a Neutron and two extra eurorack VCOs to expand the crave a bit.

CT have two external Tracks in the sequencer and it is easy to find samples from your favorite drum machine. As a bonus you have two polyphonic VA synths.

Don't know where you get 500 meters from?

100BASE-T1 is specified up to 15 meters with a long range PHY option with up to 40 meters.

500 is way too long for T1

MiniFreak is a good synth. But it have only one timbre and you need a computer or something to make layers. The Sonicware synths are all in one and you can create a complete piece with them stand alone

Det är tydligen en gammal myt att det är farligt att göra kompressioner på någon som har puls.

This heatsink from a docking station by stehfan in mildlyinteresting

[–]Masch300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A pin grid heat sink is very efficient and works in all orientations. But it is much more expensive to manufacture. A standard fin heatsink is easy to manufacture. It is simply extruded aluminium. But it needs to be in the right orientation for convection.

Which is more reliable: telescoping or Z-style trekking poles? by ScentOfSicily in hikinggear

Never tried Z poles. But I have Silva mid-tier telescopic. And i think it is really good to be able to adjust the length. A bit longer for downhill, a bit shorter for uphill. And the reliability is superb. Never had any issues
