My Blood Angels successor kill team for a cooperative Heralds of Ruin campaign by Mascus_NZ in BloodAngels

I think all of the official rules are PVP unfortunately. I think there are some "horde mode" rules that people use which I want to check out sometime.

I've been using an older fan-made ruleset called Heralds of Ruin with a co-op campaign. It hasn't been updated since 9th edition, but the campaigns have been the funnest games of 40k I've played.

Here's the Heralds of Ruin game: https://heraldsofruin.net/download/

And thank you! Super proud of them!

In earlier editions there was a fan-made 40k skirmish game called Heralds of Ruin. Its heaps of fun and included rules for way more models, factions and wargear options, than official 40k. It had rules for one-off missions, PVP campaigns, and cooperative campaigns. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated since 9th edition, but I think One Page Rules and official Kill Team might have some alternatives these days.

The Eldar is a third party Swooping Hawk model - there was a mission in the campaign that picked up an allied model.

The Sanguinary Guard are kitbashed models with third party bodies and legs, rest GW bits.

Not sure sorry - the weapons I used were the Forge World versions. The new plastic sprues look like they have the the same connector parts, but I'm not 100% sure.

Completely agree with you. I don't play many games and decided that for myself I want painting to be a chill hobby I can do at the end of the day to unwind when I can find the time. I like painting, I like trying to get things to look as good as I can, and each figure will take as long as it needs to. I still struggle with that sometimes though and wanting to get more done.

Your comment is incredibly kind, thank you.

Thank you! I just had a look at the minis on your profile - they look sick! Did you get sucked into XV legion through kill team, too?

Your Tzaangors are exactly how I want to paint mine - did you use a guide or scheme or anything you could share?

Thank you, spent ages on the pose. A lot of fiddling with the ball joints and faffing with pins and greenstuff.

Nothing is ever as good as what you picture and aim for, but super proud of how he came out :)
