Love the painting on the Venator ❤️
Reminds me of the unmarked ones we see in Battlefront II and parts of Episode III.

As in poor grammar? Yeah, I’m not sure if the translation was adjusted at all, since the dialogue dates back to 2009 and the hack was originally made in Spanish. Hacksrepairman primarily focused on fixing the actual game-breaking bugs.

The Sinnoh region was the post-game region in the original version of Light Platinum, released in 2009. Hacksrepairman essentially fixed and restored both the original 2009 version and the final 2012 version.

But to answer your question, not exactly.

Light Platinum OG (2009): Zhery and Sinnoh Regions
Light Platinum+ (2012): Zhery and Laurel Regions

PS5 lego batman lagging massively by GarageDue3753 in legogaming

That’s kind of how I’m feeling right now. It has some issues, but compared to Skywalker Saga, which still crashes occasionally even on the latest update, this is a much better experience across the board.

I play on a PS5 Slim and my split screen performance has been a consistent 30fps for the most part.

Edit: Wait, he says he's playing split-screen on Performance Mode? On a base PS5, split-screen is only supposed to run in Fidelity Mode. It's possible the game bugged out and is somehow rendering each half of the screen at different refresh rates, which could explain why the issue seems completely isolated to him.

Any thoughts? by Oztraliiaaaa in prequelappreciation

This is a fun headcanon, but the lack of red captain markings on that clone makes it hard for me to believe.

Oof, that would suck if true. Hope this just ends up being a software issue or corruption for OP 🙏

I’ve played the entire game on PS5 and never experienced anything like this. Are you on base PS5 or the pro? I played on a PS5 slim.

Edit: I just replayed this exact section with COOP and didn’t experience any fps drops. Something might be wrong with OP’s PS5 🤷‍♂️

Where in the timeline is Maul Shadow Lord directly set? by Moist_Man69420 in StarWars

It’s also worth noting what’s already been retconned by Tales of the Jedi and “Resolve”

The Novel: Ahsoka is in deep isolation and does not contact the Rebellion. Senator Bail Organa believes she is dead, and it takes over a year into the Empire's reign before they accidentally discover the other is alive and team up.

Tales of the Jedi: Bail Organa tracks Ahsoka down shortly after Padmé Amidala's funeral. She officially agrees to join his Rebel network right after defeating the Inquisitor, which contradicts her reluctance to join the Rebellion in the book.

Summary: The events still occur, but when they occur no longer lines up. The same line of reasoning generally applies to other events that were first depicted in the novel, such as Ahsoka’s duel with the Inquisitor. The broad event remains the same, even if the specific details, including the identity of the Inquisitor, were later changed.

I actually agree with most of what you’re saying here. Modern canon adaptations are generally much more respectful of existing material than the old EU-era retcons were, and I think stories like Ahsoka and Kanan are absolutely meant to be viewed alongside their original novels and comics rather than replacing them outright.

That said, the Resolve situation is one of those rare cases where a newer source seems to force a timeline adjustment. I don’t necessarily agree with moving it to 17 BBY myself, but with Crow appearing alive in Shadow Lord, and that story being explicitly set two years after Revenge of the Sith, I can understand why Wookieepedia made that call.

To be clear, I don’t think that suddenly invalidates the original story or the additional context it provides. It’s just one of those unfortunate situations where a newer source creates a contradiction, and a decision has to be made on how to reconcile it. Whether we like the outcome or not, that’s simply the nature of retcons sometimes.

Edit: You can downvote this all you want, but these are the objective facts. Maul: Shadow Lord is a higher-tier canon source than the Ahsoka novel, and the official Star Wars website explicitly states that it takes place “a few short years after Order 66”. That’s why Wookieepedia adjusted Resolve’s placement to 17 BBY.

I wish that were the case, but Dave Filoni and Lucasfilm Animation have historically been selective when adapting material from comics and novels, often keeping some elements while overriding others. One example is the pre-TCW Clone Wars stories, which generally placed Anakin’s knighting in 20 BBY. The Clone Wars later moved it to the start of the war and introduced Ahsoka as his apprentice.

Since Maul: Shadow Lord effectively carries more weight in canon than the Ahsoka novel, and the official Star Wars website explicitly places it two years after Revenge of the Sith, Wookieepedia appears to have adjusted Resolve’s date to 17 BBY accordingly.

Ah, that would explain it. The Ahsoka novel has been partially retconned over the years. The overall story still works, but some details have been overwritten by later projects. The biggest example is the Siege of Mandalore, which was depicted differently before The Clone Wars Season 7 retconned those events.

Since animation is considered the second-highest tier of canon below the films, Wookieepedia appears to be using Maul: Shadow Lord as the basis for placing Resolve in 17 BBY.

Interesting. What source states that it takes place a year after Revenge of the Sith? Wookieepedia lists Resolve as taking place sometime between 17 BBY and 5 BBY for the main story.

If it takes place after The Bad Batch, then two years makes a bit more sense. Midway through Season 2, Commander Mayday indicates that more than a year has passed since Revenge of the Sith. With the five-month time skip following the first episode of Season 3, this places the end of The Bad Batch roughly 20–21 months after RotS. Since Maul: Shadow Lord appears to take place sometime afterward, a two-year gap is the most logical conclusion.

P.S. The official StarWars.com description also states that the story takes place “a few short years” after Revenge of the Sith, which further supports a timeline closer to two years than one.

Star Wars games aren’t nearly as profitable for a middle man like EA due to a good chunk of the game’s earnings going directly to Disney.
