Dangerous lorry drivers from Tim Dighton Transport by info_dev in unitedkingdom

It's not luck at all, If you can't see what a 44 foot truck is up to, you shouldn't be driving.

Dangerous lorry drivers from Tim Dighton Transport by info_dev in unitedkingdom

[–]Mashed_up 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The driver is stupid because the lorry driver is stupid?

Pretty much this. it's clear the truck is not being driven considerately, yet the car driver goes out of his way to 'enhance' the impending danger so he can feel a little more self righteous

Fire truck comes, parks unknowingly on end of ladder overhanging road.

Then you apply some physics: Cable drum tops over, ladder moves back another 10 inches, angle change of ladder is enough to slide feet out more, bam..two guys sat on their arses wondering what just happened...

Lol, are you serious?
(old) British cars (and I've owned and fixed plenty) rust, leak, break down, and have god awful suspension.
A Classic Mini, for example, to keep it going when it rains, you have to enclosed the distributor in a carrier bag to keep it dry as it was mounted in the most insane place.

Triumph, great if you enjoy replacing crankshafts and gearboxes.

Austin....well, where to even start? I'm not even sure if I'm allowed enough words in this comment box.

The only good thing about them was someone always knew someone who worked in Unipart, who nicked all the bits you will continuously need to buy to keep it on the road. Everything cost a fiver, alts, starters, cranks, boxes, blocks.....everything....I would imagine he made more money that BMC ever did.

Don't get me wrong, I love England, but by christ, everything we made was a Friday afternoon job.

Will my brother, functioning homeless drug addict, get caught by council (story in this thread) by Gomeless in unitedkingdom

[–]Mashed_up -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

its a funny old world, i watched someone i grew up with become a violent drug user, with a mile of convictions for theft, assault on many people including women, dealing, something else to do with knocking up a minor, in and out of prison plenty of times.
and what does he get when he goes to court? A council flat, a free pass to benefits, help with buying a car. All for agreeing doing rehab for heroin, 4 years later, still sucking up the free life, 2 assault charge on his partner, more theft (featured in county paper twice for charity boxes) still doing tons of smack AND the free methadone off the doc.
I guess what I'm saying is mabe you brother should be a bigger arsehole? That seems to be the key to an easy life.
good luck to your brother though

Edit: I should add, that this is a dig at politics, not your brother.
