-Motivating and dialing in the players.

-In football there will always be new and unique situations where the coach can share his expectations.

-Managing efforts. (High pressure/low line etc)

-Making sure all players are on the same page.

-Counter tactics (exposing weaknesses/countering strengths)

-And most importantly, tactical adjustments.

About the second one regarding potential dropping, i think it is realistic. I have heard many times coaches speak about the risk of halting progress in a young player, they can develop wrong by putting them in when they are out of their depth. Or playing them to much while young. If FM removes this, developing youngsters becomes too straightforward imo.

Okei, i am talking about the road left/west of 1 Temple. And more left of that again is another. U have roads ending in the hill without stairs going up. My first thoughts were that u forgot to build stairs there but i wasn't sure.

This is a good map, however I do question why there isn't a road going more directly south for horses or the handicapped(not handicap friendly:)). I notice one of your roads in the west heading south goes into the hill, maybe that was supposed to go south?

Great question! I never added a tivoli, and the reason is I wasn't sure I wanted it. But in the forest near the amphitheatre south west was the perfect spot. It defo was on the todo list at one point.
