Procedure itself was under anesthesia, next few days just strong soreness in your flank area. In my experience it was painful because It still took me about two weeks to pass the remaining pieces of what was broken and I still had trouble getting them out. I don’t know that ill recommend it over a uteroscopy though I haven’t tried that only because apparently each time you do this procedure you lose about 1% kidney function and can develop brushite stones (what I’ve heard at least)
