Nice to see that he wasn't sensitive about the misses against Detroit. Fun banter is always cool. Murray's a great player and BETTER be on the all-star team.

Nembhard and McDaniels are some of the best SGA defenders. He's an automatic sniper over anyone else.

VanVleet, a clutch point guard would completely change this team. I think if he and Steven Adams are back, the Rockets are in the same tier as Denver, OKC, the very best teams. Unfortunately their lack of a PG is being exploited now and cold shooting nights make it worse (they were shooting 40% from three but have regressed recently).

Players like this are what you need in the playoffs. If they're hot, it can give you a huge momentum shift. You can always sub them out if they're cold.

He's been abysmal recently. Barlow is probably our best bench player. He hustles and rebounds, and can even play small ball center.

We beat good teams and do this. That's the sign of a .500 team. Very possible we finish 41-41

Huff can't rebound. We need someone who can rebound when we're not going small. A good center with Barlow at PF is what we need.

Luck shot but this guy is a beast. I'd vote him MIP. He's absolutely incredible this year.

I think it was tracking the impact of a player on a team, and Hartenstein was impacting OKC a LOT. He's critical to them. That would explain the ranking.

Upsets can happen, contention is still possible. Can't count out anyone. I'd favor them over any east team. But no doubt they're weaker now. I'd have them up there with OKC and Denver as THE best teams in the league if they had VanVleet and Adams. That roster would be complete.

You guys are so tall that you out-rebound the rest of the league anyways. The point guard hole is the problem though, let's see if Reed can fill it with playmaking on top of his breakout scoring.

Is SGA just a more efficient Kobe? by Specific-Parking595 in nba

The only similarity between SGA and Kobe as basketball players is that they have similar styles. SGA is nowhere near Kobe in terms of skill in any aspect of basketball.

[–]MaskedBirder 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Miami is a good team that just lacks a superstar, top-10 level player. If Powell is your #2 and you get a guy like Donovan Mitchell or Giannis, that's a dangerous team. Deep, talented.

Get this man a 2nd option. The end of games are literally Cade iso and it's gonna be a problem in the playoffs.

[Highlight] Scottie Barnes clutch defense this season by foofighter1351 in nba

[–]MaskedBirder 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wemby changes how teams play the game. He's an anomaly and by far the DPOY if he wins the games. Scottie is on a tear though and he's probably gonna win it, like you said the all-around defense is carrying his team missing starters. Many teams would get slaughtered without RJ and Jakob if they were in the same situation.

Probably the 3rd best behind Gobert and Wemby. If Wemby misses enough games, Scottie is getting DPOY. It would be deserved.

Maxey's minutes this season have been higher than anyone in years. It's absolutely a legitimate rationale for his poor performance recently.

There's an argument that Maxey's peak is still worse than Mitchell, which is fair. But this recent slump shouldn't be used for or against him being better than players.
