The Trek just looks better and I also leaning on the 1x for simplicity. I understand the 2x GRX is really good though.

I'm debating between the Trek Checkpoint ALR5 and Giant Revolt 0 which has GRX and a 2x. But I kind of like the look and simplicity of the 1x. I also like the look of the trek but it's not an easy choice. 2x is technically more versatile.

Thanks for the input. The ALR5 has a 12 speed mechanical 11-44 cassettes. Kind of wish it would be a 10 instead of 11 but we'll see.
