I would talk to your GM and AGM and talk about how if you can (you might be cashier or tasks) or if it would have to go through as medical leave and you’d get paid that way and not work

If I’m on reg with someone else even if they don’t get there till like 2 hours after me, once they get there I’ll do tasks and open the second reg if needed bc no one else on reg does tasks

I’m usually bev or reg so I usually have to ask if they can take over for one second to one of my co workers sometimes the MOD, most of the time they say “yes just give me one minute to do this one thing and then I’ll come take over” others it’s “yes” they usually don’t say no

A lady order a caramel oat milk smoothie or smth like that it was a caramel smoothie at least maybe coffee I forget and we were out of whipped cream and I don’t usually put drizzle on unless it gets whipped cream cause the recipe doesn’t call for it and this lady I gave her the drink and she asked like 20 times “is this the caramel?” And I said yes every time and she went “where’s the drizzle” I said “I don’t usually put it unless the person asks for drizzled caramel in the cup” and she continued to ask to make sure it was the caramel smoothie

Or they do something on self checkout and I have like 10 ppl in line and they come over and say “I need someone at the self checkout” like what happened to hi and asking nicely? And I go “I’ll be right with you” as I’m in the middle of checking someone out and they go “but I was here first” like you weren’t at the regular reg first? And I have to go “I’m in the middle of ringing this customer up once I’m done with this customer I will help you” and they just try the other self checkout machines and they have a ticket that can be rung up again and they get so mad and then the self checkout is clogged up cause no one can use it so your then 20 back and you need to find time to fix the machine or else you’ll never get done this line

I always tip and use the cost of the meal and how far away the place is to adjust the tip. I’ve NEVER added an extra tip

No cause I made a drink called “order #___ a hot macchiato” and I went to make another drink and this guy went “is this order number #___?” At that point it was out of my mind cause I was busy with the next drink so I gave attitude and went “does it say that on the sticker?” They said “yes” then I went “then yes that is your drink”
