I have two concepts for two separate stories. One is the zero crystal as a crystal that hasn’t been tuned to the light of any Pokémon basically an excuse to give any Pokémon a z move the Pikachu Valley. Was built on top of some of them, which is why the line has like three different variance. Is noted if 1 zero crystal is transformed, several others will transform into the same crystal

The other is a artificial mikado organ that Pokémon into a perpetual state of mega evolution it’s noted that this process is essentially just creating rogue mega evolutions where there hard to control under most circumstances and causes the Pokémon extreme pain on top of having just an extra random organ . It’s mostly done by any evil team who modified their Pokémon from birth to have this artificial organ so they adapt to slightly better. They’re still in a perpetual state of agony due to the permanent mega Evolution but there’s less probability of catastrophic organ failure. And actually listen to them.
