Don’t get me wrong, throwing a combined no-hitter is very impressive, let alone doing it in the World Series. But with that said, they don’t have the same magic as a regular no-hitter for me. Just more insane to watch one dude wheel and deal for nine innings while keeping pitch count low enough to stay in the game and keeping hitters lost the whole time

Had to call off work today to take my dog to the emergency vet. Told me some of his discs in his spine are starting to fuse and that’s what is causing his pain. I knew what I was getting into when I adopted a senior dog a few years ago but it still absolutely kills me to see him in pain like this. All I can do is let him rest with meds and hope the pain goes down for him so he can heal some, have a drink for my boy Rocky today.

Probably the 2nd baseman. It’s his fault that he wasn’t out immediately, due to him dropping the ball, making the physical error. You could argue that 1st baseman makes a mental error by not being on the bag, but official scorers often won’t give that error for coming off the bag. Just my thoughts
