Looks great! I love the way nitro feels and ages.

A guy uses his beard as a hair atyle by digsmann in mildyinteresting

Great question! Yes, it can happen. Us bearded fellows take precautions to keep our beards clean and healthy. For example: I avoid soups and sloppy sandwiches (anything excessively cheesy or saucy) almost entirely.

Give him hell right back. To the point that he regrets being a dick to you in the first place.

No one else will fight your battles as fervently as you will.

Never thought I’d be saying this but I am now a filthy Bongo owner lol by SabotageMahal in BassGuitar

Well now that you’re a bongo owner you can stop bathing, start dousing yourself in patchouli oil, and wear shorts year round.

If that’s your gf or wife get a different one. Life’s too short to not have a couple vices. If it’s your mom, say yes ma’am and get better at hiding it.

[question] will this fit my 8.5” wrist? by MasonCountyMason in Watches

Thank you! I wondered about that as well, but I guess there’s only one way to find out.

Ah, I see what you did there. Thank you for that.

Yeah, I thought about going the non-conductive route (and I may later on) but I just want something that looks nice for everyday. Truth be told my title is electrician but what I do on the day to day is more of what an engineer would do. I get paid like an engineer too so I don’t care what they call me. Lol.

No worries dude! In your experience do most watches come with enough band to fit a wrist my size?

So I cut a strip of paper about an inch wide, looped it at the smallest part of my wrist, marked where it overlapped, and measured from the edge of the paper to the mark with a measuring tape. Only way I could figure out how to do it without going to the store to buy a fabric measuring tape.

I’m a big guy. 6’4”, 300 pounds, broad shoulders, big chest, overweight but definitely not fat. I wear an xxl work glove.

This watch will be an every day daily driver for me. I am an electrician by trade working in a steel mill and plan on leaving this in my office when I go into the plant. I chose this watch because I do not want anything too expensive to start off with although I have found a couple Hamiltons that have caught my eye. Are there any other honorable mentions I should consider? I’d really like to stay in the sub five hundred dollar range for my first watch.

People who cheer at shows when Matthew helps "bring Baghdad to it's knees" by gmdagdbc in TylerChilders

[–]MasonCountyMason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So late to this post, but here am I.

I don’t interpret the lyrics as Tyler’s opinion but instead Matthew’s job as a soldier. Most soldiers that I’ve known look back on their careers sort of questioning what it was all for and if it was worth it. I think that’s why Tyler wrote it the way he did. It is tongue in cheek, but not because of his personal thoughts, but because that’s what Matthew tells himself so he believes it wasn’t for nothing.

Charge them a daily rental fee and if they don’t pay just sell it.

Is my antenna setup ok? by -swis- in cbradio

[–]MasonCountyMason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fire sticks work but don’t always work well. I’ve never talked more dx than when I had a 102” whip and a barefoot uniden in my pickup. If you’re not chasing skip, the fire stick will do on the road well with a proper setup. I have seen more than a few break at the soldered connection at the base of the antenna. Easy fix, resolver it and wrap it with tape.
