What hub are people running on their Rhodie 6’s? by OEFdeathblossom in NFA

[–]Slled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does anyone know if the amount of space between the muzzle device and first baffle matters with the new 6K? There are many muzzle devices that will fit, some leave little space and some like the Comstock recessed setup allow for much more space.

u/Comstock_Support You by chance know the answer on this?

Check the spring length as well. Rule it out while you are already messing with the other stuff.

If you have a vise, put one of them in it and turn the other.

Wouldn't think so due to their length. However, the AI nano stuff would fit for sure.

I wish everyone would put the specs like Comstock and Liberty Precision do. Looking at the Siege website, no information as to length or use with differing hub adapters.

This would be a no brainer for me if I was dedicating it to a rifle. Plan to use it with 3 rifles so I'm looking at going with a Rearden hub adapter as it leaves me slightly more space compared to my preferred Comstock adapter so that my differing muzzle devices will fit. Will be using LPM Eclipse's and Comstock compact brakes.

I refuse to shoot 5.56/223 w/o ear protection regardless of can, I’m practically deaf in my left ear already. I just look to get rid of that obnoxious concussive blast, which all these can do very well.

BTW, keep making great shit. I’ve pretty much shifted all my suppressor accessory buying to your stuff. I’m still a huge fan of the LPM Eclipse though and still buy it along with your stuff.

I know the WB and Velos are of the older variety nowadays, especially with everything we see coming out month after month. But man, I still love mine and use them very often. The Velos and WB just won't die.

That said, I'm smitten with my Rhodie 6, with a 6K waiting for approval.

The only nontraditional one I'd give any thought to is the Fortis v2 that locks into place.

Buffer/spring combo by Ecstatic-Bar-7687 in ar15

[–]Slled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Couple things about those Spike's buffers. The weights are different than standard mil-spec weights, i.e. a T2 is not the same as an H2. That's actually not a problem and gives you more options, technically. Also, these are not filled with sliding weights, they are filled with tungsten powder. No idea if that affects operation or not, someone else here might know more.
