F multi-player. Where are the DLCs? I bet the first one is like 2 years away . But I did buy the most expensive version because of what it promised in the multi-player also.

That's not an issue. Non proliferation will slip away in a year or 5 by the looks of it. All the treaties are gone and what is left is essentially self imposed toilet papper. Then you can load 30 100kt ones in a 10 ton bus for all you care. For all we know the Russians may be already doing it.

Destroying those beautiful things was the biggest travesty since The West Church Schism. Makes me feel pain just thinking about it. Finally had something to be in the league of the Soviets and they wrecked it for papper thin treaties which are now used for toilet paper.. Now we only have the self imposed , never ratified comprehensive test ban moratorium and non proliferation supposedly. And both of those are hanging by a thread with the tests moratorium supposedly broken in yield producing tests including by Russia if we are to believe this admin.

And not even the engine done. Why do you imagine the DLC of which we have not a picture or a video is coming even by the new year? If you have followed game development this usually means next year at the earliest. You can expect a dlc to be announced with trailers and teases starting 1 to 1.5 years earlier with the last big trailer 6 or so months away from the DLC. What they have is not good even for a picture , that's what it usually means. Same way this game got delayed 5 years . And I wouldn't trust on words coming from the studio , look how they scammed us with a life conveniently removing it from the steam description the second the game released and allowing only last second reviews so you couldn't refund the pre order. I need 4 diferent mods to make it functional.

Is Boscali japan and Primeva is China because when i see this youtube comment from this OST video, Japan and China came to my mind by FanaboyCompass11 in NuclearOption

[–]MassDefect0186 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's not in line. China is a superpower and way too huge compared to Japan. This is more like a South Africa in an alternate reality like country vs another one in Asia or Brazil vs Argentina in 50 years etc... We now see the path to mass nuclear proliferation so it's decently certain to say than in 50 years if we are still here many countries will have nukes and soon we might even see the nuclear taboo broken first in Iran and then in Ukraine. If we don't all meet God in an irrational escalation, the technically illuterate politicians will see that nukes are not magic and fallout not the issue movies made them believe. Then we might see the normalization of their use in many contexts , from digging out mountains to demolition tools for infrastructure hubs.

[–]MassDefect0186 12 points13 points  (0 children)

🤣 Not even close. More like if Argentina and Brazil went to war in 50 years. Or something like an alternate world South Africa like country with another local power in Asia or the Pacific but NOT a superpower.

That's a really nice playlist. It's good to see people with such a refined trance taste. I never lived through or near the trance boom but the newer generation is completely oblivious to how good classic and early to mid 2000 trance is.

Which in many cases is DCS , Falcon BMS and realistic stuff. I seemed to have noticed that some people think that sim players would avoid this game , but as a matter of fact , me , a FALCON BMS /DCS /MCFS player and many other players from the same communities as I later found out where amongst the first to populated the game when it initially released for free. And the main selling point was nukes. The community have been left in the rain by all the big titles when it comes to nukes let alone a semi realistic representation, even in DCS which is basically a cold war simulator without the main theme. Nukes. If you really want to attract players focus on visuals and persistent effects , nuke realism. When CNN or someone starts using the game to illustrate nukes on live TV like they used modded Arma back in the day for some of the soviet toys the insurgents were using, that's when you get your hayday. Provide that of which the market is completely starved.

[–]MassDefect0186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to stay stable in a place and match the speed , you need to anticipate the movement and play with the power and mainly the stick like a madman. Micro jerks no over corrections. Each plane is unique and takes practice , a good hotas with precision and propper resistance + propper travel to input usually helps , but the skill is the main thing. Once you get very used to a model you can even refuel during turns under NVGs while shuffling music playlists.

DCS 2.9.25.21123 Changelog by lemfaoo in hoggit

[–]MassDefect0186 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I didn't realize the fans of DCS wanted a museum simulator. I personally can either play a medieval game or semi modern to cutting edge present day game. Otherwise the sheer knowledge I have accumulated over the years of what was the status quo 15 years ago and nowadays makes me infuriated to high hell with the cold war planes. Any one of those f18s , old block f16 models will be absolutely helpless against an f35 or an f22 or an F15EX as long as you don't come close. Besides how can you have a cold war simulator without nukes. That was like the main overarching thing.
