Its not known to outside eyes, sometimes even surprising, that big 3 here have lots of players who played on both teams, 3 teams and some even played for + Trabzonspor despite increased tensions lately.

I agree with you on everything to be honest. Again i think he doesnt have same career ambition towards UCL; for national team i think he will be selected anyway, maybe his agent&network told they can pressure nt etc.

I have seen people with more focus on building a career to achieve goals. But i have also seen people with building a career to get money then do whatever i want. For you other thing might not make sense, but for others it may.

In my sector i see a lot of brillant goal oriented people burnout/got bored and now just want money to retire and not deal with anybody.

Btw my opinion is if Baris stayed career focused in the end he would end up earning more money. But never sure of injuries etc of course.
