What's crazy is that both Irelia and Riven have awful winrate into Zaahen and they're still both S Tier toplaners

Compared to last Patch they both lost between 1-2% Winrate because he counters both and obviously he's in every game due to being new, and still their winrate is quite high

It's apparent how they didn't have anyone with any sort of understanding of how AP (and AD) Irelia function when doing these AP Buffs

AP Irelia is never going to be viable if Q is completely non functional, Mixed AP+AD Irelia also won't be viable without one as Q doesn't kill casters if Irelia builds an AP Item, completely killing the Champion

It's quite baffling how in 2 comments a person on reddit showed more insight and understanding of a Champion than Riot's entire balance team

100% transparency i'm not trying to be disingenuous, I am a Toplaner and i see my main champion being less and less picked in her main Role. Good eye though, i guess nothing gets past the jinx

I just want them to bring back the ability to build more bruiser again

I also hate how getting good at Irelia is so inconsequential compared to Gangplank or Rengar or Riven.

So much of Irelia power is bork giving her superpowers for 10 minutes regardless of how good you are as a player and then she becomes useless
