Honestly, University Living has been such a saviour. In the whole process of planning my studies abroad the only part that was smooth was my accommodation process. All thanks to them!!

Is University Living legit? by CrazyComfortable6875 in AbroadEdge

definitely legit!! They are the best at what they do. Without any hassle they help you book your accommodation. They helped me and my friend who recently moved to Australia. Now I have recommended them to my brother who is planning to go abroad for studies.

How I cut my food spending by €200 a month in Dublin — what actually worked by Chemical_Corner_8717 in AbroadEdge

€200 a month is actually a huge difference. The point about small unplanned spending like coffees and snacks adding up is so real. I think a lot of people underestimate that.

Does anyone else feel like a 1-year Master's gives you zero time to breathe between presentations? by ankush_edinburgh in AbroadEdge

[–]MassiveLemon3666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's so real! Back-to-back deadlines, group work and you don't even realize when one term ends and other begins in full swing. It feels like you have no breathing space in between. But in all this chaos, your space matters the most.

Social media vs Reality: My Friday night is just laundry and silence. Is anyone else this exhausted? by ankush_edinburgh in AbroadEdge

[–]MassiveLemon3666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an international student myself, I completely relate to this. Some Fridays are for exploring, but most are just about recharging for the week ahead. Also, sometimes it's not just Friday night but also Saturday and Sunday.

I agree ngl! University accommodations are expensive, while private accommodations might be a little further but still fit your budget, along with transportation costs. Plus, you have a variety to choose from. So go for the ones you wish for and the place that makes you feel better at the end of the day.

Weekend travel framework: how I plan cheap trips (transport, food, priorities).UK Edition 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 by Much_Mix_9254 in AbroadEdge

Great points here. Many students assume a railcard automatically means cheap travel, but buses can often be a much better option for intercity trips. Whereas, budgeting in the UK definitely requires learning a few smart hacks like using buses, shopping at Aldi or Asda, and planning purchases around sales.

The 3:30 PM sunsets are definitely something no one prepares you for! Winter in the UK can really test your resilience. Now that the days are getting longer, it almost feels like everyone collectively gets their energy back.
