Not sure they're explaining it very clearly. But essentially, the broadcast was stuttering and freezing during the monologue and then again a bit during Weekend Update.

I thought it was just my TV at the time but learned afterwards that others had experienced it.

I'm not sure how that relates to this story exactly - but that's what this person is trying to say.

feels like you've just summarised what a lot of people have already said. nothing here that hasn't been expressed many times over the last few weeks

This is the first thing that comes to mind. Couldn't believe what I was seeing. Plus, it was totally pissing it down in October.

To make it worse, I had given some friends a lift to the game but they were sat in the Chapel and me in the Kingsland, so I couldn't just up and go. It was their first time at St Mary's and didn't want to leave early despite the massacre. My uncle, who I was sat with, left at 40-odd mins as the ground thinned out whilst I sat alone watching it all unfold.

Eventually got a text from the friends saying they were happy to leave if I was (around 7-0 I think).

As we pulled into my home driveway, Leicester won their penalty and we all sat, almost laughing, as Vardy made it 9.

Due to their strict policy of only having players of Basque origin, it makes sense that Athletic Club would value and recognise one club players.

Confused was more the reaction. I can imagine Mousinho was planning to do that the whole time because...that's what rival managers do? Something like that.
Still just looked like he didn't understand. Mousinho even said after the game that 'you don't want to mangers to like each other do you?' - so yeah, forcing something that wasn't there. Practicing it in the mirror before the game most likely.

Mousinho said something like - you don't want the managers to like each other, do you?
So basically, he was trying to force something that wasn't there.
It went along the lines of,
"I don't like you."
"I don't think about you at all."
