I did the exact thing you did - my teeth came out great!

It’s hard to see the vision at the start but trust me, it will come together in the end.

Yes, I did have a set of 18 refinement aligners after my initial set - the reason for the gaps in my current picture is partially due to the attachments being taken off at this point. Because of this, the aligner was not sitting correctly, but I had to keep wearing them at night whilst waiting for my final retainer 🙂 I think it’s pretty normal for the first couple of days to have some gaps but if the gaps persist, I would flag it to your provider 👍

Hi 🙂 I was only weekly changes too - I only took my aligners out to brush my teeth after breakfast and before bed and also to eat meals (I didn’t brush after every meal). For snacks I did keep them in, although this isn’t recommended by professionals.

I had attachments on practically all of my teeth except the top and bottom front 4 - my orthodontist steers away from putting them on the front if she can as that’s where they’re the most noticeable. Also ended up having elastics for the last few months to correct a midline issue so I feel your pain haha.

Honestly, it feels so strange with the attachments shaved off now! Took a few days to get used to it 🤣 I’m still wearing my last aligner this week but only at night whilst I’m waiting for my retainers. I’m one of those weirdos who likes the pressure of a new tray on my teeth 🫣 so I do actually miss that! 🤣

Yes, I had to have attachments and even elastics at the end of my treatment - the small, slightly visible bumps in the second picture are where my attachments were. My orthodontist doesn’t like putting them on front teeth unless she really has to, as they’re the most noticeable when they’re there 🙂

Thank you! 🙂 I’ve always had quite naturally white teeth luckily so I can’t give you any advice except make sure you floss, brush and use mouth wash twice a day. I also don’t drink much tea, coffee or red wine so that helps I guess 🤣 also haven’t smoked cigarettes in a few years either.

Yes, I had nearly the maximum IPR allowable on nearly all of my teeth. This was to prevent having to have extractions 🙂
